Best Bet: Race 7 - Crocodile Rock

Very talented stayer that bolted in at his first Australian start before finishing 2nd last start when he was first up from a spell. That was over 1600m and he should improve out of sight up to 2400m today and looks up to much better races than this.

Best Value: Race 8 - Lola Lu

Open race but she's raced over this track and distance at her past three starts, winning her latest in BM64 grade. Back up to BM70 grade here where she went close two starts ago and the 3kg claim brings her into contention at a decent price.

Looks a talented 3YO who ran 3rd on debut in town before going to Wyong for an easy kill last start. He won by nearly 4 lengths and with further improvement he should be hard to beat here. 

Best Value: Race 6 - Mortar Platoon

Big watch on this European import having his first Australian start for Chris Waller. Won a trial leading into this which suggests he might be ready to show up here and unlike most other European imports that are true stayers, this horse looks suited to 1400m-1600m.
