Ladbrokes Park (Lakeside) backs up with midweek racing in Melbourne after a successful day of Group 1 Racing at the venue on Saturday.
Its Twilight Racing again on what will be the first day of Autumn and the first gets underway at 3:05pm.
Gallopers will race on a Good surface once again.

Race 3
*SCRATCHED* (4) Lady Hampton for Dean Krongold is the go here after two close up races in her last couple. Two starts ago she was 4th at The Valley when beaten just over a length and then stripped fitter the following start when a luckless 3rd at Hillside. She goes good on the surface and is 1 from 1 when third up from a spell which she is here.
(1) Red Sun Sensation is the obvious danger after his 5th in the Group 1 Norman RObinson in Spring. He hasn't raced for four months but is in the leading Moody stable.
(2) General Firepower will be better 2nd up and has won 2nd up before. He drops a kilo for this and I get the feeling that he wasn't too fit when 11th on resumption.
(5) Spirit Beast hasmore fitness after a first up 8th and I wouldn't read too much into that performance either. Did win a Cranbourne jumpout on Feb 6. Is fitter than some.
Race 4
(3) Tycoon Bec gets a 2-kilo clam here for Carleen Hefel which will help her cause. She gets a lovely run and this race is easier than her last couple. Before that it was a nice win at this track over 2100m (same distance). She loves dry ground and will settle around 3rd or 4th in the run.
(2) Milford Sound will be huge odds but I think he will run okay here as he is another who is down in class. His only run over this trip resulted in a handy 3rd.
(6) Accuse has a lovely draw (3) and has Kah on top. He has been freshened for this after a solid 4th at The Valley last time.
(7) Princeton Award is down in trip but can miss the start. He has won 3 from 9 on dry ground and has to be included.
(3) Tycoon Ben WIN

Race 5
(5) Mr I’m A Believer gets the Peter Moody & Luke Nolen combination here and the Make Believe/Kimola gelding will get plenty of admirers after a good last start performance when 2nd at The Valley, beaten less than a length. He probably got a bit too far back in that race and with the same barrier here, I think Nolen may settle him around 4th or 5th in the run this time. He has had 2 tries on the Good for a 1st and 2nd.
(8) Accountability ran a good 3rd behind Sunday Buzz last start and is at full fitness now. He hasn't won in a while but likes this distance and the dry track.
(2) Freedom Escape has been in the money 9 of 16 starts and should finish in the top 3 again in this. He stormed home at The Valley last start (2nd) but may settle behind Mr I’m A Believer which is a worry.
(3) Winds of March was 8th in the same race as Freedom Escape last time. He may lead again but will need everything to go his way if he is to win.

Race 7
(1) Cap De Joie for Nick Ryan and Blake Shinn is a big chance after putting in some handy performances during the Spring. She has since looked good in 2 recent jumpouts and she has won 1st up previously.
(5) Unusual Culture ran on well for 2nd at Hillside last start and will be wanting a truly run affair here. She likes Good tracks and is fitter now.
(6) Boss Queen will settle on pace and Damien Oliver has elected to stick with her for this.
(7) Rivaport comes across from Longchamp but has since run a decent trial. If the support comes on race day, he may be worth a play at odds.
