Ladbrokes Park (Hillside) will host its Family Day of Racing on Saturday with a nine-race program on show for spectators to enjoy.
Race one comes up at 12:35pm over 2400m with the last race concluding at 5:40pm in what looks to be an open affair.

Sandown Hillside Racing Tips: Saturday February 11th 2023
Race 2
(4) Pericles is back here after a spell and the Street Boss/Accessories gelding has won first up from a spell previously. Jamie Kah hops on for the Cumming Team and this horse does look very promising after running 8th in the Victorian Derby in the Spring. It's his first try on a Good surface but he has run two very good trials leading into this race.
(5) Amenable gets back in his races and has Damien Oliver on. He is another who is first up and if there is pace on it wouldn't surprise me if he is the best finisher.
(6) Calico Jack has early toe and is fitter than some of his rivals. He is going for three on end and has already been backed in early markets to win this.
(7) Glint of Silver will find this harder than his 2nd at Kembla Grange last start but has had a little freshen up leading into this one.
(4) Pericles Each-Way
$4.50/$1.80 (1/2 Units)
Race 7
(10) Jacquinot gets the nod here after i left him out of the placings last start when he was victorious. I didn't think he was ready that day but he won well after an excellent ride from Damien Lane. This race is his Grand Final and he is fitter again and will be very hard to beat. He drops 4kgs and gets his preferred surface again and the barrier (4) looks ideal for him.
(9) Turaath likes this distance and did look the winner with 400m to go last time. Fitter here and is over the odds.
(8) Nugget has won 6 from 10 now and the Maher & Eustace camp wouldn’t enter him again if they didn't think he could win again.
(1) I’m Thunderstruck returns after trialing up nicely and did run 5th in this race last year. Others are fitter but he will be running on.
(10) Jacquinot WIN
$3.40 (2 Units)
Race 8
(5) Corner Pocket is well weighted in this i reckon and has drawn nicely in barrier one with Damien Oliver on. He will lead or sit behind the leader in this one and he is a winner of 7 starts from 12 on firm ground. Lindsay Smith prepares and i reckon he has been set for this for a while.
(6) Sunshine Rising has Blake Shinn on and he has trialed up well recently. He loves this distance and loves the ground. Very hard to beat.
(9) Young Werther obviously needs it longer but has got more talent than most of these. At the odds he is worth a play at the place.
(12) Pounding has drawn terribly in 15 for Jamie Kah and probably loses a couple of lengths early because of the draw. He loves firm ground and is in an in-form stable (Moody) so has to be kept safe.
(5) Corner Pocket WIN
$3.40 (3 Units)
Race 9
(6) William Thomas is a horse I follow and did once win a lot of money on but have since given it back. But his last start 3rd was very good and he is at 100 percent fitness now and the distance is ideal. He will get back but if they are swooping, he will be strong to the line at big odds. He has won at this track before and its D-Day i reckon. He was beaten less than a length when 3rd at this track last start and that was on the Soft. He is better on Good.
(9) Flash Flood drops weight even though he won well last start at Pakenham. He is second up and has won second up before.
(8) Sparkle has drawn awkwardly in 13 for Blake Shinn but did match it with Tuvulu in a recent trial. Japanese import who must be kept safe.
(3) Here To Shock is fitter now and was a last start favourite. Not sure connections would be happy if he didn't run top 4 in this. On Boxing Day he was beaten a nose at this track so he does know the track.
(6) William Thomas WIN
$14 (1 Unit)
