Three games to look forward to in the A-League this week, with the matchups taking place on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday night! We have a preview and betting tips for each game below.
A-League Betting Tips
Central Coast Mariners vs Western Sydney Wanderers
Monday 7.30pm (AEST)
The Mariners have had a season to forget so far in 2019-20 and will be hoping these last few weeks go really quickly. They had lost 11 straight games until a 0-0 draw with Newcastle snapped that streak on Friday night. They haven't won a game since all the way back in January but have a pretty decent opportunity to secure points on Monday night as they come up against the 9th placed Wanderers.
The Wanderers have not played a game since the season resumed so will be chomping at the bit to get back out there. They drew their last two games before the season was put on hold, both solid results against top three teams in Melbourne City and Sydney FC.
There's no doubt that the Wanderers are the better team here, and they come into the game with much more rest than their opponents, who have already played two games since the season resumed. The Mariners have struggled to score goals this year, finding the back of the net just 22 times, the fewest of any team and going scoreless in their last two. Back the Wanderers to win to nil here.

Melbourne Victory vs Brisbane Roar
Wednesday 7.30pm (AEST)
The Victory are another team that has had a season to forget in 2019-20, winning just 5 of their 22 games and losing thier last three on the trot. They played their first game since the season restart on Saturday night as they went down to Western United FC 2-1.
The Roar had won three games on the spin when the season resumed, and the break looks to have been detrimental to them as they lost 1-0 to Adelaide United in their first game back. They sit in fourth place by just one point but will be desperate to keep securing points to secure a home final or potentially a first round bye if they can jump into second place.
The Victory have won their last four games against Brisbane, dating back to a 402 win in December of 2018. We expect the Roar to kick that trend this week, however, as the Victory are in some lacklustre form at the moment, having lost their last three and seven of their last 10 games.
Adelaide United vs Perth Glory
Thursday 7.30pm (AEST)
Perth Glory sit in 5th place on the ladder and will take on 6th placed Adelaide United from 7.30pm on Thursday night. Adelaide have played two games since the season resumed, both against strong opponents. They recorded a 1-0 win over Brisbane before a hard fought 1-1 draw with Wellington on Saturday night.
On the contrary, the Glory haven't been in the best form of late, losing their first game back since the restart 2-1 to Wellington. They have won just three of their last 10 games, the fewest of any team inside the top eight and will be away from the safe haven of HBF Park on Thursday night.
Love the value of Adelaide United here as the team in form. Back them to win at $3.25 or take them with the draw no bet if you want a bit more insurance.
