Esports Betting Tips: Wednesday, June 10th
T1 vs Neon Esports
BTS Pro Series Season 2: Southeast Asia
T1 are entering this match hoping to continue their strong showings and pick up their second win of the tournament. So far, T1 suffered two losses against Fnatic and BOOM Esports, produced a stalemate against Adroit and on Tuesday, took down Cignal Ultra. Neon Esports, on the other side, played only Reality Rift and came away with a draw.
T1 and Neon Esports played each other twice in their history. They met at Hephaestus Cup at the start of May, where T1 won 2-0 and most recently at SEA Dota Invitational 2020, where T1 won 2-1. While T1 managed to defeat Neon twice already, it's hard to expect another win from this squad, since those games were played a month ago and Neon looked very sharp recently.
Neon Esports are entering this match with a 6-1 record and while some of those fixtures were played against much weaker sides, Neon Esports at least gained enough momentum to enter this match in hot form. This will not be an easy match for their side, but looking at Neon Esports’ recent results, they should be capable of holding their ground and keeping this match close. Bet on draw!
Cignal Ultra vs Reality Rift
BTS Pro Series Season 2: Southeast Asia
Reality Rift played two fixtures so far this tournament against Geek Fam and Neon Esports and drew them both. Cignal Ultra, on the other side lost all three of their fixtures against Geek Fam, Execration and T1, and are coming into this match with a 0-0-3 record.
Suffice to say, Cignal Ultra are struggling with their performances at BTS Pro and considering they have won only 5 games out of last 14 played, it's hard for me to be overly optimistic about their chances to win here. These two sides met five times this year - Reality Rift won three, Cignal Ultra one and one match ended in a stalemate. As for the H2H map record, Cignal Ultra hold onto a disappointing 27.2%win rate against Reality Rift, which further suggests this match will be rather one-sided.
A draw is still a real possibility here, but at the provided odds, I would much rather side with Reality Rift to win and extend their strong record against Cignal Ultra.
AVANT vs Renegades
ESL Australia & NZ Championship Season 11
Renegades started their playoffs run in the upper bracket, where they made easy work of Generation of Miracles and while they won that game without dropping a map, they faced tough resistance. Miracles managed to take 10 maps off them on both maps, which was quite an achievement considering Miracles are a newly established and very young (average age 19) team.
Renegades headed into the second match of the upper bracket as massive favourites against TRUCKERS WITH ATTITUDE, but somehow seriously underperformed and lost 0-2, which saw them drop down to the lower bracket, where they will face the tricky AVANT.
AVANT will enter this match looking to revenge their loss against Renegades in the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 – Oceania finals, where AVANT managed to win the first two maps, only to lose the next two and saw the title slip between their fingers.
The last two matches between AVANT and Renegades were very close and I don't see how this one will be any different. Renegades are in my eyes still the better team, but I would not count out AVANT just yet. They have looked very solid against Renegades at DreamHack Masters Spring and if they can perform at the same level here, they just might finally defeat their Australian rivals. Bet on AVANT to finally get the upper hand against Renegades.
