Esports Betting Tips - Sunday, June 7th
MAD Lions vs ENCE - BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown
Both teams are coming into the match undefeated at the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown. MAD Lions defeated Fnatic, Virtus.pro and Dignitas and have drawn against mousesport. ENCE, on the other side, defeated sAw, Astralis and mousesports, but only managed a draw against NIP and Vitality.
The last time these two teams met was back at the start of the year at the IEM Katowice 2020 Europe Closed Qualifiers, where MAD Lions made easy work of ENCE by winning 16-10 on Mirage and 16-7 on Overpass. Fredrik 'roeJ' Jørgensen and was on fire that day with an insane 1.65 HLTV rating and a total of 52 frags, while Aleksi 'allu' Jalli showed up with 47 frags and a 1.36 HLTV rating. Anyway, we probably should not put too much emphasis on the said match as MAD Lions were still playing with their old IGL Nicolai 'HUNDEN' Petersen, while ENCE were playing with Sami 'xseveN' Laasanen instead of their new star player Elias 'Jamppi' Olkkonen.
While ENCE looked good against mousesports in their 2-0 win, they are still adapting to their newest signing and I have yet to see them win against a proper top 10 team that is not struggling with their form or internal issues. MAD Lions have cooled down since their FLASHPOINT campaign, but they should still be miles ahead of ENCE solely due to their tactical superiority. Bet on MAD Lions to make short work out of ENCE!
Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Vitality - BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Europe Showdown
Ninjas in Pyjamas have played a total of four matches so far this tournament, winning against Astralis and sAw, while drawing against Vitaliy and ENCE. Vitality, on the other hand, have played a total of six matches. They drew against ENCE and NIP, defeated Astralis, Dignitas and Fnatic, but suffered a surprise loss against the tournament's worst team sAw.
Ninjas and Vitality have already met once this tournament and produced a 15-15 draw on Inferno. The main thing to take from that match is that Vitality led 9-6 at the half time, but failed to seal the deal. Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbaut was (again) the best player in his team with 29 frags and 1.45 HLTV rating. In NIP, Tim 'nawwk' Jonasson was the man to watch with 31 frags and an amazing 1.67 HLTV rating.
These two teams have met so many times in recent months that they should know each other's strengths and weaknesses well, which means we are in for another close affair. Adding to that, neither side is in great form, so it's hard to pick out a winner. From what I see, the value is definitely on Ninjas in Pyjamas since this match feels like a coin toss, but the best bet has to be the over 2.50 maps. Bet on the series to go into the distance!
Renegades vs AVANT - DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 Oceania
The finals of DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 Oceania will serve us with an exciting match between the second-best Australian team Renegades and the up-and-coming AVANT. Renegades will be coming into the match with an automatic 1-0 map advantage due to coming from the upper bracket.
Renegades are entering this bout in hot form with 100% win rate across the past three months, which is little misleading, as they have only played a total of ten matches against lower-ranked teams from their region. Renegades won ESL One: Road to Rio - Oceania without any real issues and have also defeated two of the strongest Australian teams Chiefs and AVANT at the current tournament. As for AVANT, they boast a 74% win rate across the past three months and are coming into the match with two loses out of the last five matches against Incept and Renegades. On a positive note, AVANT won against Rooster and twice against ORDER.
While Renegades are the better team, AVANT are definitely not as bad as the odds suggest. Both previous matches between these two teams were relatively close and although Renegades are coming into this match with one map advantage, I don't believe AVANT will give in that easy. They're a tough team to beat that knows how to stand their ground. Bet on AVANT to keep it close!
