Esports Betting Tips: Friday, May 1st
B8 vs HellRaisers
(DOTA2 WePlay! Pushka League D1)
You can respect a Dota2 veteran keeping his legacy alive by creating his own team, but perhaps it would be better for Dendi to just call it quits and become a coach. I am aware that having his own Dota2 team was a lifelong dream for TI1 champion, but the way B8 have been playing recently, this team desperately needs to make some massive changes. Even saying that they played badly would be an understatement - B8 have won one match in last 20 played - and that is not a typo. Well, at least their only win came against HellRaisers, so perhaps B8 have a chance to win here? Hope always dies last, but in this case, I would not expect too much from B8, both because of their poor performances and because HellRaisers looked very decent this tournament. With a 2-0 win over NaVi, 2-0 against FTM and most recently a dominant 2-1 win against Virtus.pro, HellRaisers are looking like the hottest team at Pushka League.
B8 might have won the first time, but I don't see them putting too much resistance here. HellRaisers swept the floor with everyone they met so far and B8 simply don't have the tools to escape that fate.

Natus Vincere vs Espada
(CS:GO ESL One: Road to Rio - CIS)
Ever heard of players like FinigaN, degster, Patsi,… Yup, me neither. Well then, let me introduce you to a Russian team called Espada. They are one of those teams that might win a match here or there and maybe even cause a major upset against one of the strongest teams in the world, and then slowly disappear into the oblivion that is Tier 3 Counter Strike.
This might be greeted by some weird looks, but I firmly believe Espada can cause some problems for NaVi. They only reason I am comfortable recommending a bet on them is that even against the world’s best team, Espada have no business being priced so high. especially in an online match. Those who have been following CS:GO scene for a few years will know that NaVi usually start tournaments very slow as they need some time to warm up, and this is a something Espada will look to capitalize on. Take advantage of these juicy odds and pray to whatever being you believe in that NaVi might be coming into the match with egos too big to actually prepare for the match!

Mousesports vs FaZe
(CS:GO ESL One: Road to Rio - Europe)
What I am counting here on is not for mousesports to beat FaZe Clan, I'm betting on karrigan to once again show up with a sound game plan against his former teammates. Most of the people know karrigan to be one of the best IGLs this game has even seen and to top it off he often performs admirably well against the teams he was kicked out - especially mousesports and FaZe Clan.
Mouse are still struggling with the online play, so seeing them being priced as underdogs is kind of a reasonable, but since ESL One is not played on LAN, we can expect a high number of "random results" and I see no reason why mouse would not be able to come out on top against Faze once again, as they did for the last three times!
Dignitas vs ENCE
(CS:GO ESL One: Road to Rio - Europe)
The only reason that Team Dignitas are coming into this match as underdogs is because they lost a BO1 match at the Elisa Invitational 2020 against ENCE yesterday, but it was an incredibly puggy map (Dust2), so I don't really care about the result and neither should you. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Dignitas are in any way better as the results suggest - they're still a very iffy team, but perhaps not as bad as ENCE, who are currently experimenting with a six-man roster by shuffling Jamppi and Aerial between tournaments which is obviously not ideal. So, who is worse? ENCE or Team Dignitas? My money is on Team Dignitas. To win, that is.
For Dignitas to win comfortably here, we still need an outstanding performance from Hellzerk or one of the veterans, but I have seen the lows of both teams and ENCE looked way worse.
