The 2019-20 EPL season continues this weekend with Matchday 13. The international break seems like it went for forever, so it’s going to be great having a full 10-game slate back on this weekend! As always, we bring you our three best bets from the round and wish you all the best of luck if following our plays.
EPL Matchday 13 Betting Tips
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Leicester City
Amex Stadium, Sunday 2am AEDT
Brighton have exceeded expectations so far this season with some pretty strong play through 12 fixtures. They were on a two-game winning streak before travelling to Old Trafford last time out, although they couldn’t make it three on the spin as they fell 3-1. The Gulls are now in 11th spot on the ladder and are only two points behind fifth-placed Sheffield United.
Along with Liverpool, Leicester City are the form team in England at the moment. The Foxes have won five in a row and 11 out of 14 in all competitions. Last time out they took care of Arsenal by two goals to nil at home and moved up to second place on the league table as a result. They're still eight points behind Liverpool in first, but there's still a long, long way to go yet.
The Foxes are one of the most exciting teams to watch at the moment and are also one of the most dominant. This weekend they get a look at a Brighton outfit that have been solid this season but are still nowhere near the level of Leicester. We like the Foxes to continue their form with a win on the road to remain in second spot.
Manchester City vs Chelsea
Etihad Stadium, Sunday 4:30am AEDT
The game of the round sees defending champions Manchester City host Chelsea at the Etihad. City are coming off a thoroughly disappointing loss to current league-leaders Liverpool by a score of 3-1. Undermanned and on the road, the Citizens simply couldn’t match it with the now clear title favourites. Adding salt to their wounds, wins by other top sides saw City fall down to fourth on the table.
Chelsea got their season off to a rocky start but have since come on strong. They’ve got a fantastic 9-1-0 record in their last 10 games in major competitions and have been banging in goals for fun. The Blues have risen to third on the league table and are playing like a team that will stay in the top four until season’s end.
City should have the edge being at home and with a slightly better team sheet, however, the Blues have been scoring goals at will and will certainly pose a constant threat in their attacking third for the full 90 minutes. We’re expecting plenty of goals in this one with City eventually coming out on top to claim the win.

Sheffield United vs Manchester United
Bramall Lane, Monday 3:30am AEDT
Sheffield United have been the real surprise packet this season and currently sit in fifth spot on the table. The Blades defence has been the stingiest in the league through 12 games where they’ve conceded just nine goals. Last time out they claimed another valuable point when they drew 1-1 away to Tottenham, which kept them underfeated on the road this season at 1-5-0.
Manchester United look to have found some much-needed form of their own. They started the season off poorly but are currently in seventh spot on the table after their convincing win over Brighton last time out. Despite some better form of late, United have still failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last seven games.
Both teams bring some decent form into this fixture, which should make it an entertaining watch. As mentioned above, the Blades have been the stingiest team in the league this season, which has led to the Both Teams to Score market failing to hit in six of their last eight games. As a result, we expect another low-scoring affair this weekend.
