Unfortunately, we hit on just one of three bets in last weekend’s EPL betting tips. However, the win did come at great odds of $2.30 so we’ll look to carry some of that momentum into this weekend’s action! Week 10 in the Premier League gets underway early Sunday morning with five games kicking off at the 1am timeslot.
We take a look at some of the key matchups in Week 10 and give our betting tips below.
EPL Week 10 Betting Tips
Burnley vs Chelsea (Monday 12.30am AEDT)
Burnley will be disappointed with their effort away from home against Manchester City on the weekend. They would have travelled to Manchester with confidence after being one ot the only teams in the league to take points off the Premiers last season, but a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of the Citizens sent them home with their tail between their legs. They now sit 13th on the table with a 2-2-5 record through nine games.
Chelsea remain one of the three undefeated teams in the Premier League through nine weeks of play. They sit just two points behind Manchester City and Liverpool, who are tied for top spot, as they have one less win and one extra draw. Those three draws have come in their last four Premier League games, albeit to tough sides in Manchester United, Liverpool and West Ham.
Burnley have beaten Chelsea in just one of six games since their promotion to the Premier League three years ago. That was a 3-2 win at Stamford Bridge last season. The three games at Burnley in that span have resulted in two Chelsea wins and one draw and we think the same outcome is on the cards this weekend.

Manchester United vs Everton (Monday 3am AEDT)
To say Manchester United’s season so far has been inconsistent would be an understatement. The Red Devils have won four, lost three and had two draws so far in 2018 and have another tough matchup this weekend against Everton. They’ll also be coming off a midweek loss to Juventus in the Champions League, albeit at home, so they could be marginally tired here.
Everton have been fantastic over the last three games in the Premier League, racking up three wins over Fulham, Leicester City and Crystal Palace to surge into the top eight. They currently have a 4-3-2 record but have a tough road ahead with games against Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool over their next month.
Manchester United start as $1.62 favourites here but we like the value of the away side. Everton have taken points off Manchester united in six of their last 13 contests with no clear trends of home and away dominance. We think based on form alone and the fact that Man U had a mid-week game, Everton should be able to come away with at least a point.

Tottenham vs Manchester City (Tuesday 7am AEDT)
The game of the round in Week 10 sees Tottenham hosting Manchester City early Tuesday morning. After a slow start to the season, Tottehnam have won their last four games in a row and currently sit in fifth place on the table behind on Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. They have a tough road ahead, however, with games against three of those teams in the next month. A win here at home would push them into the top four.
Manchester City have continued on their winning ways from last season, racking up a 7-2-0 through their first nine games and amazingly allowing just three goals over that span. They have scored the most in the league, too, with 26 on the board already and had a dominant 5-0 win over Burnley on the weekend.
Tottenham will have the home field advantage here but it’s hard to look past the form of Manchester City at the moment. They have not conceded a goal in their last five games and we expect them to handle the Spurs this weekend.
