We went just 1-3 in our EPL betting tips last weekend with a few unlucky results. A midweek Round 25 means we get the immediate chance to bounce back from a disappointing performance. See our preview and tips for the key games in Week 25 of the EPL below.
EPL Week 25 Betting Tips
Huddersfield vs Liverpool (Wednesday 7am AEDT)
What a turn around it has been for Liverpool over the past week. After becoming the first team to defeat Manchester City in Week 23, Liverpool travelled to Wales and lost 1-0 to bottom of the table Swansea in a tough match. Liverpool maintained 72% possession in the game and fired 21 shots to Swansea’s 3 but ultimately couldn’t find the break through they needed.
Huddersfield have now lost their last three games in a row and have slid to 14th on the EPL table, just two points clear of the relegation zone. They’ll get a home match here to try to take some of the pressure off, but apart from Liverpool’s performance against Swansea, they have been near unstoppable over the past month and half.
Liverpool have won seven of their last ten games and beat Huddersfield 3-0 in the two teams last meeting back in October at Anfield. It was the first time the two teams had met in league play since the 1971-72 season, where Liverpool won both contests. Despite the history, the two teams are on different form levels at the moment, and we only see this going one way.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth (Thursday 6.45am AEDT)
The Chelsea train continued to roll on the weekend as they smashed Brighton 4-0 away from home. They’ll get another relatively easy matchup in the midweek fixture as they take on Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have now won their last three games and lost just one of their last 10 as they continue to hunt down Manchester United in second place.
Bournemouth have won just two of their last 10 games, and while they have five draws in those 10, their main concern has been finding the back of the net. With just 25 goals through their 24 games and just three in their last five games against Chelsea, it’s hard to see them putting a lot of scoreboard pressure on the above average Blues defence here.
Chelsea have won their last five games against Bournemouth, plundering 13 goals in the process. It doesn’t matter if its at Stamford Bridge or away from home, they have had the wood over The Cherries since they re-joined the Premier League back in the 15-16 season. Back them to continue their dominant form here.
TIP: Chelsea to win to nil - $2 at Ladbrokes
Tottenham vs Manchester United (Thursday 7am AEDT)
The game of the midweek round sees Tottenham hosting Manchester United from 7am on Thursday. Tottenham have bounced back after a tough middle part of the season to win six of their last 10 games, losing only one in the process. Harry Kane continues to dominate the league, having already racked up 21 goals through the Spurs 24 games.
Manchester united have won their last three games and look in really good touch as they finally have what seems to be a full-strength line-up at their disposal. Centre back Erin Bailly is the only injury concern for the Red Devils, while Tottenham will likely be without Danny Rose, Hugo Lloris and Christian Erikson for the upcoming clash.
Manchester surprisingly start as $3.60 underdogs away from home here. We thought odds would be a little closer than they are, and in a game that could really go either way, we are happy to take the value here.
TIP: Manchester United to win - $3.60 at Sportsbet
