I respect Judy In Disguise here but I'd rather be taking $3.80 about Sopressa who was good on debut when 3rd behind Sworn Evidence who looks a smart type. Bred to love he heavy conditions and they naturally improve for Weir after their debut run so expecting her to be very hard to beat here.
Best Value: Race 9 Oscar's My Mate Pa
I like Vellastar in this race too at $6.50 but Oscar's My Mate Pa looks way over the odds at $15. The track will be Heavy here and he's got three wins and two placings from five starts on heavy ground, including a three length win at Cranbourne two starts back. Will go forward from the inside barrier and with the in-form apprentice on he'll be tough to catch.

R2 - Raczynski / Fat Amy EW
R3 - Pegatego
R4 - Tomohawk
R5 - Pick Up Line / Carob EW
R6 - Pushin' Shapes / The Forgotten One EW

Best Bet: Race 3 Pegatego
Tremendous record at this track and distance with 10 top two finishes from 12 starts. Back to 1200m after failing at 1300m last start, draws the inside gate so should bounce straight to the lead or box seat. Tough to beat.
Best Value: Race 6 Pushin' Shapes
Big run last start behind Bollywood Blitz and gets a 2kg weight swing today for a one length defeat. Looks ready to peak now at his fourth run back from a spell and up to 2100m. Taking $6.50 and also backing The Forgotten One at $8.
