Goulburn & Mildura Racing Tips for Monday, May 22nd

GOULBURN RACING TIPS

R1 - Handstotheheavens
R2 - Jindaberra
R3 - Common Purpose
R4 - Pandeia (Best Bet)
R5 - Divergence
R6 - Belridge (Best Value) / Ay Oh Whey Oh EW
R7 - Victory Anthem / Southern Gamble EW
R8 - Il Bandito

Best Bet: Race 4 Pandeia

Looks to be Tommy Berry's only ride of the day which is a big hint in itself. Finished 0.5L off the winner first up over 1000m in BM65 grade, drops to BM55 grade here and tends to improve second up. Goes well on a soft track and looks hard to beat.

Best Value: Race 6 Belridge

About $9 for this horse who won over track and distance in this grade two starts ago which was also on a Soft track. Only battled on the firm track last start but back onto a soft track with the claim and a good draw could see him bounce back.

Best Bet: Race 4 Bit Of A Lad

Looks to be crying out for 2000m now and took him a long time to wind up on the heavy track last start. Will need to come from a long way back but he looks the best horse in the race.

Best Value: Race 7 Our Mallee Hoff

Del Piero has a poor second up record and Vega De Lago has a poor second up record so I'm prepared to take them on here with Mallee Hoff who has a good record at the distance and at the track. Ready to peak third up from a spell, draws well and looks a good price at $6.50.
