We are coming off a brutal beat in the NFL. Not to worry. We have been killing the Thursday Night Games. For everyone that had Pittsburgh tickets " You got lucky!"
College Football Bowl season is fast approaching. It is one of our favorite times of the year. NFL is also getting very interesting with a lot of the division's looking like a log jam at the top.
Just two plays today.
College Football
Oregon State at Oregon (11.00am AEST)
Two of the toughest football mascots will battle it out today.
Beavers vs Ducks.
Both teams are coming off horrible losses. Oregon has all but thrown in the towel making it clear that if they cant play in the BCS National Championship Game then they are not going to show up at all. Marcus Mariota has been cleared to play, but Oregon's star QB is probably out of the Heisman race. His knee is also very questionable and the Beavers should be able to exploit that today. Ducks were a covering machine early this season, but since the Stanford loss, my money will be going on the other side. We are grabbing the points today ( +23.5 ) and although its unlikely, I'm personally going to sprinkle a little on the ML ( money line ) at $10-1
FYI - 30 years ago these two teams squared off in what later got dubbed the " Toilet Bowl" played in mud and rain the game featured 11 fumbles. 5 INT. 4 missed field goals and ended in a 0-0 score. The NCAA brought in overtime after that.
BET ON : Oregon State +23.5
NBA
Spurs at Magic (11.10am AEST)
The Spurs are coming off only their second loss of the season. They shot the ball very poorly which may lead to a little bit of value on the OVER today. Dont let Orlando's last two wins fool you. They are bad. Spurs like playing in Florida and have won the last two against the Magic there. Spurs win this game 115-98
BET ON: San Antonio Spurs -9.5
Take a look at Jason Kidd. No time outs left. No Worries
