Best Bet Race 8 I Too Can Dance
Stepped up to this distance for the first time last start and absolutely bolted in so it looks as if they have found the key to him after charging home over 1000m and 1400m at his two starts before that. His time on a Soft track over this course and distance last start was quicker than Backhouse Billy's time over course and distance back in November on a Good track.
Race 7 Dandy Toff
Has won two of his three starts and finished runner up at the other. Resumes from a spell today and from barrier 1 I'd expect him to go straight to the lead or box seat and he could be tough to get past at decent odds.

Best Bet: Race 4 First Star
The favourite here Avery will be tough to beat from up the front but there is a sense of timing about First Star who showed something for the first time last start when stepped up to 1600m at his third start. Looks like a real stayer so up to 1850m suits and this is Brad Rawiller's only ride for the day, and we know how lethal the combination with Weir is. Good odds.
Best Value: Race 1 The Groundsman
This horse has showed absolutely nothing since his debut performance but he has now been gelded and strikes a very thin race so could go better at $18.
