With Group 1 action in Sydney this weekend, and the AFL Grand Final on in Melbourne, Caulfield hosts a relatively low-key 9 race card.
The track is currently a Good 4 and there is a shower or two predicted but I doubt the track will be greatly affected. The rail is out 13 meters the entire circuit.

Race 4 - Miss Vista
Race 5 - Model Dragon (if she runs, if not Najmaat)

Race 8 - Shillelagh
Race 9 - Tempered
Best Bet: Race 4 Miss Vista
Undefeated so far and should go straight to the front and be very hard to run down. Biggest danger could be Cheeky Babe who has its first start for Darren Weir.
Best Value: Race 2 Valderrama
Dead-heated with Stringer Bell first up and meets that horse 2kg better off at the weights. Has placed on both occasions when 2nd up from a spell and from the inside barrier should get a good run. $9.50 is a huge price to my eye.
