At first glance the value looks to be with Nick Riewoldt. Obviously he is just a champion, but if you look at the Dream Team stats, Riewoldt has the highest average of these four players, with 99.18 points. He does have a low past five round average, but this is skewed because of the 48 DT points he got two rounds ago against Geelong. Last week against Brisbane he scored a solid 89 and in the four rounds prior to that performance, he scored 118, 96, 90, 114 points. Definitely wouldn’t be a bad option to bet on, but the Hawks will try and limit his scoring.
Riewoldt’s biggest threat seems to be Jack Steven as the young player is in the best form of his career, averaging 94.44 over the season and 98.8 over the last five rounds. His consistency has been huge and he has put up massive scores of 124 and 115 in two of his last three games. Steven hasn’t scored under 80 since Round 6 and considering this group could sometimes easily be won with somewhere between 80 and 90 points, Steven seems to be the one to bet on here.
