We enter the final three rounds of the regular season this weekend with Round 24 of the NRL season. We have our suggested team for the $1,000 guaranteed Saturday Shootout on Saturday below.
Our team has a lot of cheap Titans players in our backline as they are facing the Knights and it will free up cash for top Forward prospects.

Draftstars NRL Salary Cap: $100,000
Hooker
Nathan Peats ($13,750) Gold Coast Titans
The Titans hooker is one of the best in the business and is a defensive beast. He will rack up the tackles as he always does but we are predicting he will be able to gain extra attacking statistics this weekend. Although there is a back up hooker in Nathan Friend on the bench, when friend comes onto the field Peats moves to the backrow.
Half
Ashley Taylor ($8,600) Gold Coast Titans
In his rookie season, Taylor has been a standout for the Titans and has played with experience beyond his years. We are predicting he will have a strong game against the Knights this weekend and he is one of the cheapest options in the halves.
Centre
Sione Mata’utia ($7,750) Newcastle Knights
Mata’utia has made the change from centres into the backrow which means he will see a lot more action defensively and will increase his base statistics through hit ups also. The Knights struggle to score points but if anyone can crack the Titans defence it could be the youngest player to ever take the field for the Kangaroos.
Konrad Hurrell ($6,400) Gold Coast Titans
Hurrell has made a great transition since joining the Titans midseason and has become fully match fit. He is an absolute wrecking ball and will cause a lot of issues for the worst defence in the competition.
Wing/Fullback
Jarryd Hayne ($6,400) Gold Coast Titans
No surprise with this selection, picking a superstar player at such a cheap price is an absolute must. He has the capabilities to hit his best form this weekend and tear the Knights defence to shreds.
Josh Hoffman ($7,350) Gold Coast Titans
Hoffman has been an exceptional and consistent centre for the Titans all season. He is averaging just under 40-points and as with every Titans player we have selected, has a high ceiling this weekend as they are facing the worst defence in the competition.
Front Row Forward
Jake Trbojevic ($11,700) Manly Sea Eagles
A future captain for the Sea Eagles, Trbojevic plays huge minutes in the lock position and he will be able to earn a lot of base statistics this weekend against a Storm side that will look to grind out the victory.
Ryan James ($12,650) Gold Coast Titans
James was fairly lucky to escape the judiciary midweek and he will be right to take the field this weekend. He caught Tedesco with a swinging arm that broke his jaw and was set to miss a week before fighting the charge. He is a hard working forward and has crossed for 8 tries this season.
Second Row Forward
Gavin Cooper ($12,700) North Queensland Cowboys
The Cowboys have been off over the last three weeks but you can expect a huge match from them this weekend as they return home. Thurston will be searching for a great performance and his partner in crime is Cooper on the left edge and this could see the Queenslander earn a big score.
Jason Tuamalolo ($12,250) North Queensland Cowboys
The human wrecking ball, Tuamalolo will want to have a massive impact this weekend against the Warriors, as he is New Zealand born. He has the capabilities of going big but is averaging a solid 45 points per game regardless.
