MoneyBall Australia's real money Daily Fantasy is set to explode this 2016 NRL season as during Round 1 they will host their biggest DFS contest ever - a $15 tournament with a $10,000 prize pool!
The best place to play daily fantasy sports in Australia is MoneyBall and that is certainly set to be the case for NRL fans as this week there will be a $15 buy-in DFS contest with a $10,000 prize pool!
The '$10,000 Super Saturday' will run like any other NRL daily fantasy tournament on MoneyBall with entrants picking a virtual NRL team of nine players - 1x Hooker, 4x Forwards, 1x Halfbacks and 3x Outside Backs.
There is $60,000 salary cap for each fantasy coach and each NRL player is allocated a salary based on their value as fantasy players - i.e Cronulla superstar Paul Gallen is one of the most expensive players with a salary of $10,300.
You can pick players for any of the NRL games being played this Saturday during Round 1. All the players on your team will then score fantasy points based on their performance and the entrant whose team ends up with the most combined points, wins the tournament! You can see below how the fantasy scoring works...
The winner of the NRL Super Saturday daily fantasy contest will likely be awarded $2,000 + for their victory, while roughly the top 15% of the field will at least double their money with the payouts working much like a poker tournament.
Participants in the Super Saturday are also allowed multiple entries to boost their chances of finishing in the money! Each multiple entry can either be identical fantasy teams, or with one or two changes or completely unique. This mean you could finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd (or more!) in the same daily fantasy contest!
If you are going to play the NRL Super Saturday daily fantasy contest we suggest you head to the NRL website and start studying up for each of Round 1's Saturday games. Good luck!
