Morphettville hosts Adelaide Cup Day on Monday with the first of nine starting at 1pm (AEDT). The Cup takes place at 4:45pm (AEDT) in Race 7 with the Philip Stokes trained Taramansour the favourite. Stokes has a good record in the race and the fav has drawn well in barrier 3. The track is Good and the weather is hot with 37degrees predicted. My best three plays of the day are below!

Morphettville Racing Tips: Monday, March 10th 2025
Race 3: Sportsbet Same Race Multi Handicap - 2:10pm (AEDT)
(5) Spirit Of Camelot goes well fresh and she has had a two month spell leading into this race. She won a jumpout last week at this track in the lead up to this and her last two races before her spell were very good. She won at his track on November 30 and then ran a good 4th at Caulfield Heath on December 14 after box seating. From barrier 1 she should be able to settle in around 3rd or 4th in the run.
(6) Clarence was unlucky here last starts but she does normally run well on Dry tracks. Has placed twice over this distance and Kayla Crowther has won on this horse 3 times before.
(1) Dual Pressure has drawn wide in and 11 and has to carry 61kg which will be a big ask. Racing for a new stable and is first up. Does go better on rain affected tracks though.
(5) Spirit Of Camelot Each-Way
$5.00/$1.80 (1 Unit)
Race 7: Sportsbet Adelaide Cup Group 2 - 4:45pm (AEDT)
(10) Goldebstatewarrior for Maher and Michael Dee is a good Each-Way chance here I reckon. He had a look at the track on February 22 for a 4th but beaten less than a length and the gelding was very dominant winning at Geelong over 2000m on January 4. That was on a Dry track which he gets here and he was ridden cold on that occasion before he was let loose around the bend. He will likely get back here but when given air he has a powerful finish on him which you need in the Adelaide Cup.
(1) Grand Pierro was near last on the turn at this track last time but made up many lengths over the final 150m. He was 5th on that occasion but only beaten 1L. Zac Spain knows him well and takes the ride. Is currently $4.00 a Place which seems overs.
(2) Promises Kept was a beaten fav at Launceston on a Good track last start but still has a big weight to carry here with 58.5kg. He did win a Listed race at Hobart with this weight but that race was easier. Blake Shinn takes the ride.
(10) Goldebstatewrrior Each-Way
$6.50/$2.20 (1 Unit)
Race 9: Grand Syndicates Handicap - 6:05pm (AEDT)
(3) Fun Forever has won 3 races from 5 starts on Good tracks and his latest run was very good when coming from midfield to score at this track by a neck. Jason Stubby Holder stays on and he has won twice on top previously. The distance is key because he has won on three occasions over this journey and from barrier 3 he should get a gun run. He rises 2kg in weight which is a slight query so we will go Each-Way here.
(4) Riche D’amour smashed them at Oakbank last start and may go on with it here. He likes the distance and he does have a good finishing burst on him.
(9) Misludi was 7th here last start but only beaten 1L. He gets Lachie Neindorf on again and he has never missed a placing on this guy.
(3) Fun Forever Each-Way
$6.00/$1.95 (1 Unit)
