Randwick Racing Tips: Wednesday, October 9th 2024
Race 6: Native Trail @ Darley BM72 1250m – 4:20pm (AEDT)
(4) Seascape $3.60: 3YO Filly who we tipped last start and she was only nabbed on the line in this grade/trip by COUNTYOURBLESSINGS who has since franked the form by winning on Saturday in tougher grade. Happy to have again now being 4th up and only lugs an extra kg off that previous run. Match fit.
(7) Extremely Hardys $1.85: Dominant winner on debut over the wet track, but has only trialled okay since leading into this. Price looks a tad too short for my liking only second up and will be on the dry track now. Prefer to watch again.
(9) Trafalgar Square $10.00: 3YO Filly who drops right back in grade now after competing in much tougher races. Only 3L off Group 1 winner MANAAL at latest. Drops 1kg off her back since then and is worthy of a crack here at a price. Hard fit now.
(4) Seascape
$3.60 (1.5 Units)
Race 7: Maurice At Arrowfield BM72 1300m – 4:55pm (AEDT)
(4) Rapbidash $5.50: Resuming 5YO who is 2 from 2 over this trip and gets in rather light with a 3kg claim. Draws a nice gate and is unbeaten fresh. Everything lines up well for her here and she will be the main danger.
(5) Hello World $6.50: 4YO Gelding who was only 2.2L off them over this trip in 64 grade, but lugged 61kg there. Slightly tougher here, but drops 3.5kg and will only be fitter now third up. Value pick.
(8) Komodo Dragon $2.00: 3YO gelding who has been terrific in all three career runs with 2 wins and a third. Returns today off a short break and should be running on again. Tad short?
(4) Rapbidash
$5.50 (1 Unit)
Race 8: TAB BM72 1800m - 5:30pm (AEDT)
(5) Cheval Savant $13.00/$3.75: 5YO who I thought did enough first up and should only improve out to 1800m now. Always runs a nice race when second up, so expect a bold run here with Nash in the saddle. Over the odds?
(7) One Aye $13.00/$3.60: 7YO Mare who can be hit and miss, but on her day she wins this. She is rock hard fit with several runs under her belt and gets back out in trip which should suit. Watch for her late.
(13) United Kingdom $3.60: 4YO who has been in the minor both starts this prep and looks to improve each run, so out to 1800m now looks key for this third up run. J-Mac in the saddle again boosts confidence. The one to beat.
Also Backing: (7) One Aye $13 (0.5 Units)
(13) United Kingdom
$3.60 (1.5 Units)
