Where to Attack
I think there’s money to made around all three favourites on Saturday. Fremantle present as some value even after knocking off flag hopefuls Brisbane. Melbourne bounced back to form last week against the Bulldogs after an uncharacteristic showing first up against the Swans, who haven’t put a foot wrong this year so far and can handle a likely gallant Essendon outfit.
Game Script – Class to prevail in the long run across all three encounters.
Value Plays
Jye Amiss ($6,900) is emerging as one of the premier key forwards in the competition, now entering his third year, looks ready to hit his straps and cause headaches for opposition coaches moving forward.
Zane Duursma ($7,350) wasted no time in his debut game, fitting into the mould of a senior footballer almost instantaneously, after carrying hype throughout pre-season. Buy his stocks before they rise.
Mid-Priced Plays
Massimo D’Ambrosio ($9,800) caught a few by surprise outside of the four walls at Hawthorn in his first start in the new colours. Has Sam Mitchell to thank for finding a role that suits his outside run and gun game.
Nat Fyfe ($10,890) looms as perfect mid-priced play that can slot into your Draftstars lineup with ease. The two-time Brownlow medallist is slowly but surely regaining the form of years gone by, stick with him.
Premium Plays
Harry Sheezel ($15,210) has been a model of consistency since being a high-level draft pick by the Kangaroos, continues to impress us with his video game numbers that he posts week in week out.
Nic Martin (14,380) has the aerobic capacity to compete with some of the game’s best endurance runners, holds him in great stead to be able to help the bombers at both ends of the ground. Needs to tidy up his disposal efficiency that proved costly towards his score against the Hawks.
Fade
James Sicily ($15,030) endured a tough outing against Essendon the week prior after a clear plan was set out to target the Hawks captain. Expect Melbourne to deploy a similar tactic in ruffling his feathers early in proceedings.
