Where to Attack
Turn your attention to the final game in Round 1, Brisbane present as a value play against Fremantle after a slight hiccup last week where they coughed up a 46-point lead to Carlton. Despite a pairing of big outs, expect them to hit back hard opposed to the Dockers who carry little hope into Season 2024.

Value Plays
Ryley Sanders ($8,550) has been the talk of the town of late, finally gets his chance to step out at AFL level and show why the hype is real. Bulldogs head coach Luke Beveridge can’t speak highly enough of him, expecting a big show from the kid.
Caleb Windsor ($7,600) enjoyed a taste of the big-time last week and relished the opportunity to debut in the Dees season opener. Price on offer is far too good of a deal to pass up on, more than happy to include as a value play.
Mid-Priced Plays
Zac Bailey ($10,180) looms as one to target in the mid-priced category for all the right reasons. The crafty small forward always seems to bob up in the right place and with more midfield minutes tipped he is a no brainer selection.
Nat Fyfe ($10,090) across the warm up fixtures ahead of Round 1 has proven that adage still rings true, form is temporary, and that class is permanent. Hoping this doesn’t put the mocker on him but his body looks trustworthy again.
Premium Plays
Tim English ($16,880) is considered one of the premier rucks of the competition with his versatility setting him apart from the rest to add a different dimension to the Dogs engine room, by acting as their fourth on-baller in many ways.
Hayden Young ($14,720) has been thrust into a midfield role that he has excelled at from the get-go. Hitting the scoreboard is another asset he brings to the table in addition to the contested stuff that was observed throughout the pre-season.
Fade
Max Gawn ($16, 090) showed a chink in his armour last week against Swans and former teammate Brodie Grundy, exposed a touch in the ruck and only posted a measly score in comparison to his lofty standards. No reason English can’t adopt a similar tactic by copying the Grundy game plan to nullify the influence of Gawn again.
