Gosford Racing Tips: Wednesday, January 24th 2024
Race 3: Spring loaded @ Teg Sat 10 Feb Super Mdn Plate 1200m - 2:55pm (AEDT)
(12) Fickle $2.25: 3YO filly who had 5 handy trials before her first start a few weeks back. She did a decent job and only finished 1.5L behind the winner on debut. She drops 3kg off her back from that run and looks hard to beat off that run against these here. Early market support suggests she is in good order. Goes well.
(5) Artemis Arrows $3.30: unraced 3YO gelding who comes into this off three handy trials. Out of The Autumn Sun, so has good pedigree and is worth thought. Keen to watch.
(12) Fickle
$2.25 (2.5 Units)
Race 4: Social Membership Only $49 Mdn Plate 1100m - 3:30pm (AEDT)
*SCRATCHED* (10) Rockin’ Millie $1.85: 4YO mare who hasn’t been far away at all in her last three outings. 3 starts for 3 seconds. Resumes today off a handy trail win and gets 3kg off her back from her last outing which puts her right in this at a light weight. Very hard to beat.
(3) Maximum Ride $6.00: 4YO gelding who was good first up, but the winner was lengths above on that day. Will only improve with the further distance now and fitter for the run. Worth thought.
(8) Cressida $6.50: Home track advantage here and hasn’t looked awful at her trials. Gets in light with ROPER on board claiming 2kg. Draws well and will be around the mark.
Race 5: At The Races Sat 23 Mar BM64 1600m - 4:05pm (AEDT)
(1) Four O’Clock Knock $3.70: 4YO who won by 5L over the mile 2 back and then struggled last start over 2100m. 1600m again looks ideal off that run two back and only whacks an extra kg on his back from that day. Early market drift, but I’m still keen on him after that demolition two back. Boasts a nice career record and will be around the mark here.
(5) Saveadateforme $4.40: 4YO gelding who narrowly missed over this trip last start. Gets third up now and will be peaking with fitness. Early market support and BERRY on board builds confidence. Goes well.
(8) Buba $4.80: 7YO mare who has been super her last three runs not missing the trifecta. Drops back in grade and looks a main danger against these here.
