Sha Tin Racing Tips: Tuesday December 26th
Boxing Day card is here from Sha Tin to stack on top of an already huge day with sport and racing going on all around the country. Here are just a few i’m keen on throughout the afternoon.
Race 3: Choi Hung Hcp (C2) - 1200m (16:00 AEST)
(2) Seasons Wit can be forgiven for his recent start and boasts a faultless record prior. With gate 2 here he gets run of the race under Zac Purton and should be saluting with even luck.
(1) Ping Hai Galaxy leads here under the big weight and may prove hard to run down in the small field. He owns an excellent winning record and knows how to win.
(4) Majestic Star is one to watch out for. James Mcdonald is aboard and should race outside or behind Season’s Wit giving him the opportunity to follow him into the race or keep him in a pocket.

Race 6: Tin Sau Hcp (C4) - 1200m (17:35 AEST)
(9) Cool Blue has the upper hand here over Lean Master after their latest clash. He meets him 2.5kg better at the weights and gets Karis Teetan booked over Zac Purton which is an upgrade on the AWT.
(11) Lean Master can win here if he leads easily enough. The question is whether he can hold on and get a soft-enough lead to go better than he has his last 2 attempts where he led and was caught.
(8) Aca Power is one at a slightly bigger price who is not out of this race. Goes in for 3rd pick.
(9) Cool Blue win

Race 8: Nam Sham Hcp (C3) - 1200m (18:35 AEST)
(9) Gorgeous Win blitzed his rivals last start and was only 2nd race of his career. Can continue to improve and looks hard to beat here.
(10) Raging Blizzard is in a similar predicament to the favourite being lightly raced and recently promoted to C3. Can use gate 1 to his advantage and prove hard to beat.
(3) Righteous Arion won from a 3-wide position last start so has to warrant respect in this race even though he’s drawn wide again. Watch out.
