Midweek racing in New South Wales continues at Randwick this week and we are set for a seven-race card. The first race is set to commence at 2pm (AEDT) and the last set to finish at 5:50pm (AEDT). Race 3: James Squire BM78 2400m at 3:10pm AEDT
(7) GOLDEN PASSPORT ($3.50) – 4YO gelding who hasn’t been far away at his latest outings. Narrowly beaten last start over this trip. Up in class now, but takes weight off his back and meets similar company. Draws a nice gate and expect him to be up on the speed setting the tempo to suit before kicking away giving the others something to chase. Takes catching.
(2) CHATEAUX PARK ($3.60) – 7YO vet who has some early support in the market. Competitive horse who can produce a good run on his day. Watch the market.
(7) GOLDEN PASSPORT - Win

Race 4: Bivouac First Yearlings BM72 at 3:50pm AEDT
(1) SWEET BABY BOOM ($3.50) – 4YO mare who won two races in this grade with one being by more than 2L. Went up to BM78 and met one who was better, but still held on for second over this trip. Back toBM72 now and gets a 2kg claim. Draws well and will take catching.
(8) YANKEE HUSSEL ($6.50/$2.10) – 4YO mare who does her best work second up and has success with COLLETT in the saddle. Comes down from QLD and has form around some quality horses up there. Up in class now, but looks capable against this field with an each way value. Interesting watch.

Race 7: TAB BM72 1250m at 5:50pm AEDT
(3) SHOHEI ($3.00) – 5YO mare who boasts a nice record so far and loves coming in fresh off a break. Narrowly beaten last start in open grade. Back to an easier grade here and comes in off a nice trial. STANLEY jumps into the saddle and gives 2kg relief. Tough to beat first up.
(10) SHADOW OF LOVE ($3.20) – 4YO mare who wasn’t all that far away first up. Gets up in distance now and will strip fitter for the run. Drops 2kg and draws perfectly. Expect her to be up front with SHOHEI and they will be battling out to the finish. Goes well.
