Jordan Dawson got off to a flying start in 2023 but slowed up late in the season. He’s the $1.15 favourite in this market so there’s no meat on that bone. We have Taylor Walker ($10) in second place and will pick up multiple three votes for his big bags of goals but it’s unlikely to be enough to catch Dawson.

Lachie Neale is a lock at Brisbane, but it’s a bit of a coin flip between Josh Dunkley and Joe Daniher in the “Neale out” markets. Daniher's price offers some value if you're feeling like a gamble, but Dunkley feels a more solid vote getter.

A really poor year for the Cats and it shows in their Brownlow votes tally. It’s hard to see Jeremy Cameron losing, despite missing chunks of the season through injury. Patrick Dangerfield looks the danger, depending on whether he picks up a few extra votes here and there. We have Dangerfield potentially polling in 6 games, while Cameron only polls in 4 games.

A huge season for Toby Greene capped off with the All Australian captaincy. Surprisingly the sportsbooks don’t have him as far in front at GWS as we do. He’s such a match winner, that our judgement (and we hope the umpire’s judgement) is based on impact and influence, and not just pure statistics. Toby doesn’t need a lot of touches to be a match winner! Looks good value!

James Sicily has a narrow advantage for us at Hawthorn in one of the closer betting markets for team Brownlow voting. We have Sicily polling in 6 games, whereas Jai Newcombe polls in 8 games for his 11.5 votes with only one best afield. If Newcombe can find a couple of other 2 or 3-vote games, then he’s a chance as he polled well last season.

We have Bolton polling in 7 games and Martin in 6 games. It’s close, but Dusty is known to poll well and could easily pinch second. His price is worth a nibble.
