We head to Wyong this Wednesday for a change of scenery as the country track hosts its Magic Millions Raceday, a key lead up event for the Gold Coast Magic Millions in January. No doubt there’ll be some exciting racing on and hopefully a few winners to go with it.
Blake Lalor brings you his analysis and racing tips for the day!
Wyong Racing Tips: Wednesday, 14th December
Race 3
(2) Mr Wallace was unlucky not to win last time when going down in a very tight photo finish. It looks only a matter of time for this horse to break his maiden status and he gets an easy opportunity to do so here with Amor Victorious coming out of the race.
(13) Nullify is somehow still a maiden! She’s run some super races behind a host of good horses including Martini Crusader, Phosphene and Gendarmerie most recently. Her form stacks up, but she never seems to be able to finish in front.
(6) Wild Irish Rover makes up the clear top 3 in this race. Was 3rd from a wide gate last time and may be stuck with the same fate this time drawing the same barrier. If he can overcome the gate, he’s a chance, but prefer the other two in better gates.

Race 4
(7) Hell I Am looks almost unbeatable in this. I tried everything I could to find something to beat him to no avail. James McDonald is aboard after riding Romantic Warrior to victory in the Hong Kong Cup on Sunday and Hell I Am brings far superior form into this race than any other horse. The only minor concern is how he’ll handle the dry track.
(8) Shalailed was 2nd to Sejardan and 3rd to Grand Impact in consecutive Group 3 races last prep. Returns here off a nice trial and can have an impact.
(4) Sneaky Paige has been in good form of late. Got tired late behind Zethus but was good behind Asfoora and less than 2L off Shades Of Rose in the Sheraco. Is drawn well and can run well.

Race 6
(4) Mach Ten will be very hard to beat in this race when he jumps well and finds the lead. 2yo races are fairly straightforward to analyse as horses drawn poorly and horses that lack gate speed are easy to rule out as they lack the experience to overcome the difficulties they’ll face in the race. Mach Ten is drawn well and will lead so will take most of the luck out of the equation. Provided he doesn’t get taken on by a roughie and gets an easy enough time in the lead, he’ll be extremely tough to beat.
(9) Infatuation was narrowly beaten by Barber last time but looks a talented filly. I was on her that day at double figure odds and although she’s not the same price this time, she can definitely run well again.
(13) Tracy’s Spirit is a roughie in the race I want to mention. I believe she has ability and will be following her further into her career. She may not be capable of winning this race as she’s drawn horribly and lacks race experience, but she should give a good account of herself.
