Monday in Week 14 of the NFL boasts a fantastic 13 game slate headlined by the Chargers hosting the Dolphins in the marquee fixture of the night. Check out our betting tips for every game below!
NFL Week 14 Sunday Betting Tips
Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Chargers
Monday 12.20pm (AEDT)
The Dolphins snapped a five game winning streak with a disappointing loss to the 49ers in Week 13. With the loss, they relinquished top spot in the AFC East, although they are still in prime position to secure one of the wildcard spots in the AFC, currently maintaining a 8-4 record on the season.
The Chargers suffered a 7 points loss to the Raiders in Week 13 to fall to 6-6 on the season. They are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, but will likely need to win at least three of their five remaining games, a tough ask with games against the Dolphins, Titans, Colts, Rams and Broncos to come.
Really like the look of the over here. Both of these teams are ranked in the top 10 in the league in offence, scoring over 47 combined points per game this season. Both also sit in the bottom 8 when it comes to total defense. I think this could be a bit of a shootout on Monday afternoon.
Other Tips
Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams
Like the look of another shootout here. The Raiders offence has been one of the best in the league over the last few weeks on the back of standout games from Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams. 43.5 seems low here.
Over 43.5 ($1.88 at Ladbrokes)
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions
Backing a third straight over here, this one comes more naturally as it is a game involving the Detroit Lions. In the Lions 12 games this season, the over is 8-4 and they just put up 40 against the Jags in Week 13.
Over 52.5 ($1.88 at Ladbrokes)
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
The Jets have been one of the surprise packets of the season in the NFL. However, they have faltered consistently when it comes to facing strong teams. In their five losses to the Ravens, Bengals, Patriots x2 and Vikings, they have an average losing margin of 9.4 points. They have the toughest test in football this week, I expect the Bills to handle them comfortably.
Bills -9.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have exceeded expectations this season, winning yet another one on the road in Week 13 as they downed the Falcons by 3 points. Tough to pick this one with the Steelers starting as 1.5 point favourites at home and some doubts on Ravens starting QB Lamar Jackson. I think the unders is the play here, especially if Jackson is ruled out with a knee injury.
Under 38.0 ($1.88 at Ladbrokes)
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants
One of the games of the round is a massive NFC East battle between the 11-1 Eagles and the 7-4 Giants. If the Giants can cause an upset here, they will shake up the division massively, giving the Cowboys a red-hot chance to pinch the title. This division is renowned for throwing up strange results so I love the value of the Giants here.
Giants H2H ($3.40 at Ladbrokes)
Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals
Browns starting QB DeShaun Watson looked rusty in his return to football but the Browns still managed to put up 27 points in their Week 13 win over the Texans despite not scoring a single offensive TD. It’ll be a much tougher task this week though, one that I don’t think they are up for at this stage. Back the Bengals to win their fifth straight game and keep the pressure on the Ravens in the AFC North.
Bengals -5.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
This one screams unders to me. The Titans have a strong defence that has led them to a 7-5 record this season and they face a Jags team that managed just 14 points against the Lions in Week 13. Should be a bit of a slugfest here.
Under 42.5 ($1.88 at Ladbrokes)
Houston Texans at Dallas Cowboys
How can you bet against this dynamic Cowboys offence at the moment. The Boys put up a ridiculous 54 points in their win over the Colts on Sunday night football to move to 9-3 on the season and will have another extremely easy home game this week. I expect them to keep the foot to the floor here.
Cowboys -16.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos
The Chiefs snapped a five game winning streak with a loss to the Bengals in Week 13 and will be out for revenge against the worst offence in the league this week. I struggle to see a way in which the Broncos keep up with their divisional opponents this week. Back the Chiefs to bounce back.
Chiefs -8.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks
Backing another shootout here. The Seahawks have had a habit of getting in high scoring games over the last few months, with their last six games yielding an average of 52.2 total points.
Over 43.5 ($1.88 at Ladbrokes)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers
Staying away from this one. On form, the 49ers should roll through the Buccs at home, but you just never know what sort of Tampa Bay team we are going to see. The Buccs have gone loss-push-win-loss against the spread over their last four games. Too inconsistent for mine.
