Another week, another PGA Tour event to look forward to as we head to Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island for the annual RSM Classic. As always, we take a look at the event in full and give our betting tips below.
This week will also see the European Tour Championship be played out, which is no doubt the bigger event with more star power this week, so we'll also give some tips for that event as a bonus.
PGA Tour RSM Classic Betting Tips
Thursday 17th – Sunday 20th November

The Field
It’s another low tier field for the PGA Tour event this week as the majority of the top stars on the PGA Tour have opted to start their Christmas break a week early by skipping the trip to Georgia. The top names in the betting markets include the likes of Tony Fianu, Webb Simpson, Si Woo Kim, Kevin Kisner, Justin Rose and Joel Dahmen.
Past winners of the event who will be back in an attempt to add another trophy to the case include Robert Streb, who won the tournament in 2014 and 2020. One time winners include Tyler Duncan, Austin Cook, McKenzie Hughes and Kevin Kisner.
The Course

Golfers will actually play one of their Thursday/Friday rounds at the Plantation Course at Sea Island Golf Club. Since the other three rounds will be played on the Seaside Course, that’s the one we’ll be focusing on here.
The Seaside Course was originally designed in 1929 by Harry Colt and Charles Alison and was later updated by world famous golf course designer Tom Fazio in 1999. The course is not terribly lengthy off the tee, instead its defences lit in it’s tricky green complexes which put a premium on approach shot selection as well as scrambling and putting. We’ll be targeting strong approach players this week.
Betting Tips
Kevin Kisner ($51 at Ladbrokes)
Love the look of Kevin Kisner this week. The No.31 ranked player in the world has made Sea Island GC a stomping ground in recent history, picking up a win and four more top 10 finishea in his last eight trips there. Is arguably the best putter in the world so I think that serves him well this weekend.
Webb Simpson ($46 at Ladbrokes)
If there is one player that could claim a better record at Sea Island GC than Kisner it's probably Webb Simpson. Simpson has played this tournanet eight times since the 2013 season. He has never missed the cut and finished in the top 10 four times. Also a world class putter.
Brian Gay ($251 at Ladbrokes)
Looking a bit further down the list for value here, I like the form of look of Zach Johnson. The veteran has been great at Sea Island in recent history, reeling off finishes of T8, T7, T6 and T16 over his last five trips there. The shorter course should allow him to stay in the mix with the bigger hitters.
