Normal transmission resumes for NRL Super Saturday with 3 games back-to-back starting at 3pm. More importantly, there are more options available for the punter and after a positive weekend in Round 13, this NRL Betting preview will hope to build on that success. The first game has the struggling Titans hosting the Rabbitohs. Each team will identify areas that they would like to improve upon, but the Titans (and their coach) are almost at panic stations.
The middle fixture travels down to Sydney with the Roosters up against the Storm. These two sides have been the benchmark for several years and this season is likely to imitate their previous form. The challenge for both sides is covering injuries/Origin omissions. The final game heads back to Queensland for a rare Saturday night fixture for the Broncos as they face off against the Raiders.

Match Preview
The Titans featured in a reduced round last week, although they wish they would’ve avoided their match following a dismal 32-6 defeat to the Cowboys. It was a woeful display, yet one that has come to be expected from this team. Languishing in 15th on the ladder, their coach could be the next one to depart the NRL if their form doesn’t reverse. The Rabbitohs will pose as a difficult opponent as they are coming off the bye and will be refreshed. Prior to that, they enjoyed a 44-18 victory over the Tigers.
It has been an indifferent year for them but there were signs in that win that perhaps confidence was returning to their attack. They are the favourites for this game and rightly so given the respective form of either side. It would take a naive person to believe the Titans can improve sharply; to add support to the visitors, the Titans have not defeated their opponents since Round 13, 2016. The Rabbitohs should be able to cover the line in this given that they are the second for points conceded while 13th for points scored.
The doubt lingering about the true potential of the Rabbitohs leads one away from investing on a ‘blowout’ score line but if they gather momentum, this game could be over early.

Match Preview
This game poses as a difficult one to select. The Roosters suffered a 22-16 loss (as favourites) to the Raiders in the absence of their Origin stars. It was always going to be a difficult road trip and the omission of Tedesco left a hole in their attack. In equal measure, those stepping into the team had positive moments, but it was not enough to change the result.
The Storm enjoyed a week to recover following their 28-8 victory over the Sea Eagles on 26th May; by the time this game kicks off, there would’ve been 15 days between their Round 13 and 14 matches. Unfortunately, further injuries to key players will negatively impact them but the form of Munster is something to admire. He was Man of the Match in Origin on Wednesday night and will be out to replicate that effort for his club side. Like most matches this weekend, the performance of either side will depend on who backs up from Wednesday night. At time of writing (Thursday), all players except Coates are expected to take the field.
The odds have the Storm as favourites ($2.55 v $1.52) and this is reflective of the form of either team so far this year. The fact that the Roosters struggled at times last week with majority of their spine on the field (and a handy replacement in Manu) suggests that they will struggle at times here too. Confidence is high in them covering the line but from there, anything could happen. Scan over the prop bets for clarification of margin bets.

Match Preview
The Broncos are flying high in 4th place and enjoyed a week off following their comeback 35-24 win over the Titans. In amazing scenes, the Broncos (without Reynolds) score 31-unanswered points in the second half to run down their opponents. As good as a finish as it was, it masked the poor performance in the first half. They will be disappointed to concede 24 points to the Titans while a week earlier, they were vulnerable in the first half against the Knights.
The Raiders are also a team in form, winning 4 out of their past 5 matches. Most recently, they defeated the Roosters 22-16 at home. The inclusion of Fogarty at halfback has added a much-needed balance to this team. Reynolds is named to return for the Broncos, and he is a key inclusion for this contest. If he were to be omitted, the confidence (for an investment) would only grow. As it stands, they are a chance of winning this game and their Origin stars are also expected to feature. It comes as no surprise that confidence is growing for the Raiders, and they will see this as an opportunity to cause an upset.
The only reason for selecting the way team with the ‘Suggested Bet’ is because the value is large for them. The odds for this game should be far closer but be aware, confidence is low. Assuming the game goes as expected (based on form an execution) it should be a fantastic event; the Raiders will jump to an early lead and the Broncos will set out to catch them. This game could be anything.
