FunPlus Phoenix vs Team WE
LPL 2022 Spring Week 8
Team WE couldn't deliver last week, when they lost against Rare Atom (0-2), but Team WE had chances to win at least one map, so it wasn't a terrible showing from them. Unfortunately, that doesn't take away from the fact that Team WE are 1-10, meaning their chances to reach the playoffs are slim to none.
This split, Team WE won only against LGD Gaming back in February, but have since lost four in a row, against Oh My God (0-2) BIlibili Gaming (1-2), Ultra Prime (1-2), and Rare Atom (0-2). Even with such a terrible record, I wouldn't say that Team WE are the worst team in the LPL, but realistically they're only better than LGD Gaming and ThunderTalk, which is hardly comforting.
FunPlus Phoenix are clearly not as good as they were last season, and even though they might still make playoffs, I don't have high expectations. At best, FPX are the eighth-best team in the league, yet are currently in the 11th spot, with a 5-7 record.
FunPlus Phoenix won against Bilibili Gaming on Friday, which might seem better than how it is since Bilibili Gaming are slightly overrated. Nevertheless, FPX played well and deserved to win that day.
PickleBet has FunPlus Phoenix priced as 1.20 favourites, which I can't argue with since Team WE are 1-10 with only one win against one of the worst teams in the league. FunPlus Phoenix are still very inconsistent, and I can imagine them losing one map against WE, but at the same time, Team WE have yet to show anything that would convince me they can win a map against the former world champions.

Anyone's Legend vs EDward Gaming
LPL 2022 Spring Week 8
Anyone's Legend are 4-8, with only four more games to go before the regular season ends, so it's fair to say that they won't be making the playoffs. This is by no means the worst team in the LPL, but realistically, Anyone's Legend only won against other bottom-table teams and have shown nothing against tougher opponents.
I would consider Anyone's Legends as a C-tier team, without the ability to upset any of the leading title contenders. They have played a couple of close series against stronger opponents – LNG (1-2), JDG (1-2) – but they also played poorly against weaker teams, including ThundertTalk (1-2) and LGD Esports (2-1).
If Anyone's Legend are a C-tier team, EDward Gaming are an A-tier team, slightly below LNG Esports, Royal Never Give Up, Victory Five and Weibo Gaming. In other words, EDward Gaming is one of the top-five teams in the league, but I wouldn't call them the main favourites to claim the crown.
EDward Gaming have won only one of their last four matches against LGD Esports, but lost against Victory Five, Top Esports, and Royal Never Give Up. But even though they're 1-3 since the sixth week of the regular season, we have to keep in mind that Victory Five, Top Esports and Royal Never Give Up are some of the best teams in the LPL.
With a 8-4 record, EDward Gaming need to win at least three of their next four matches if they wish to end the season inside the top-four. And they definitely can't afford to underperform against Anyone's Legend. Trust the reigning world champions to deliver!
