The BBL11 double header on Tuesday night concludes with the Melbourne Renegades taking on the Sydney Sixers from Geelong at 7.15pm! Mr. Cricket has been on fire this season and has you covered with his betting tips for the clash below.
BBL11 Renegades vs Sixers Betting Tips
GMHBA Stadium, Tuesday 11th January, 7.15pm
Melbourne Renegades
Predicted XI: Sam Harper, Aaron Finch, Shaun Marsh, Nic Madison, Mackenzie Harvey, James Seymour, Will Sutherland, James Pattinson, Kane Richardson, Zak Evans, Zahir Khan
The Renegades were absolutely belted by the Thunder to the tune of 129 runs in their last game and will be desperate to bounce back when they host the Sixers on Tuesday night. They don’t have a lot of injury concerns to speak of at the moment, with paceman James Pattinson likely to come back into he line-up for the clash.
Their concern throughout the season has been a pretty fragile batting line-up which relies oo heavily on the likes of Aaron Finch and Nic Maddinson. They have been getting production sporadically from youngsters in Mac Harvey, Sam Harper and James Seymour, but will need a complete performance from their top six to be competitive on Tuesday night.
Sydney Sixers
Predicted XI: Josh Philippe, Justin Avendano, Jack edwards, Daniel Hughes, Jordan Silk, Dan Christian, Hayden Kerr, Shadab Khan, Ben Dwarshuis, Jackson Bird, Todd Murphy
The Sixers were competitive in their clash against the top of the table Scorchers on Sunday night but ultimately couldn’t get the job done, going down by five wickets. They are pretty undermanned at the moment, having lost James Vince to international selection as well as Sean Abbott, Moises Henriques and Steve O’Keefe to COVID and injury.
Those players are still expected to be out on Tuesday night, which should close the gap between themselves and the weaker Melbourne Renegades marginally.
Match Prediction
Despite their absences, I still have to side with the Sixers here. It’s a testament to their depth as a squad that they can still be competitive with the likes of the Scorchers with so many out. Justin Avendano was servicable at the top of the order, while middle order players in Jordan Silk and Dan Christian are in some form at the moment.
Their bowling line-up still rivals the best in the league with Hayden Kerr, Shadab Khan, Ben Dwarshuis and Jackson Bird all firing. At ___, I think there is just enough meat left on the bone to back them with real confidence here.
Same Game Multi
The first two legs of our same game multi will be both of the No.4 batsmen and captains to score 10+ runs in Nic Maddinson and Daniel Hughes. Both play a bit of an anchor role for their sides, with Maddinson passing 10 runs in 60% of his BBL innings while Hughes has done so in three of this last five.
The final leg of our multi will once again be the first wicket of the game to be caught. This leg has saluted in almost 90% of games this BBL season and still offers tremendous value in the same game multi markets.
