Esports Betting Tips: Monday, November 1st
BOOM Esports vs Yangon Galacticos
BTS Pro Series Season 9 SEA
BOOM Esports enter this match with a 1-1-0 record, having played a draw against OB Esports x Neon and won against Omega Esports. Yangon Galacticos are 0-1-1 with a loss against Motivate.Trust Gaming and a draw against Army Geniuses.
We’re still early into the season, so these results don’t mean much but, Galacticos still deserve some praise for their performances. Losing against Motivate.Trust Gaming isn’t terrible, considering they are one of the top teams at the tournament while winning against Army Geniuses proves that Galacticos are not one of the worst squads.
Yangon Galacticos have had some moments of brilliance over the last few months, but they were never considered as a strong team. Outside of their fluke win against OB.Neon two days back, and a 2-0 sweep of Pirates last Monday, Yangon Galacticos are winless across 16 games.
Still, that run includes 12 draws against teams that you could consider to be of similar quality to BOOM. Even though BOOM should win more times than not, the favourites seem a bit ring rusty and vulnerable to losing a map. I don’t see how BOOM can lose the game, but there’s a good chance we might see another draw.
Execration vs Motivate.Trust Gaming
BTS Pro Series Season 9 SEA
Execration met with Motivate.Trust Gaming twice during the last season and won the first fixture but lost the rematch. Prior to that, Execration have won three straight H2H games and four of their last five.
Holding a 5-2 H2H record, Execration have clearly been the better team in these meetings but Motivate.Trust Gaming have been catching up, mostly because Execration have been slowing down.
Motivate.Trust Gaming have played only one game so far this season, against Yangon Galacticos, and won with relative ease. On the other hand, Execration has played three against Army Geniuses, Nigma Galaxy and Polaris Esports, and I can’t say they have impressed.
Execration’s form has been questionable for a while, and they haven’t achieved anything since September. Yet even then, their only notable accomplishments were titles from third-tier tournaments.
It seems like the only reason we’re getting 2.46 on Motivate.Trust Gaming is due to their poor H2H record against Execration. However, considering what Execration have been showing in recent weeks, I don’t believe Motivate.Trust Gaming should be priced much higher than 2.00.

Thunder Predator vs D2 Hustlers
BTS Pro Series Americas
Thunder Predator cut ties with its entire roster two weeks back and replaced their lineup with the former NoPing e-sports players. Whether that was the right decision is anyone’s guess, and we won’t know for sure until we see them play a couple more games.
That said, by acquiring the NoPing core, TP now have one of the most successful rosters in the region. Throughout the 2021 season, NoPIng won several regional tournaments, including OGA DPC South America Regional League Season 2: Upper Division and the eighth season of BTS Pro Series.
Adding to that, NoPing placed second in the seventh season and third in the fifth.
Obviously, this is a very strong roster, and a simple change of the organization won’t change that. In fact, it could benefit them – at least for the duration of the honeymoon phase.
D2 Hustlers are a relatively unknown team mainly because they’ve been in the scene for only six months and haven’t achieved much. Still, D2 have shown some life during the BTS Pro Series S8, where they claimed bronze, so I wouldn’t say they’re fragile.
When D2 last met with TP’s players (under NoPing), the latter won 2-1. However, it was a very close match, so I don’t believe D2 should be priced at 9.40 for this bout. Thunder Predator should win, but there’s more value with D2 Hustlers with a map handicap.
