In exciting news for the Australian DFS community, Draftstars have announced a Live Final for the end of AFL season offering a massive $300,000 prize pool and a life-changing first place prize of $100,000!
After the Draftstars Live Final was missing last year due to Covid restrictions, it’s great to see the Live Final make a return for 2021. This event has been extremely popular in previous seasons and once again we’re expecting to see a big turn out at the live event in Melbourne.
The Draftstars $300,000 Live Final will be held on Sunday August 15th 2021 at The Timber Yard in Port Melbourne. The AFL fixture for that round has yet to be released so it’s unconfirmed at this stage which game(s) will be part of the contest. As always, there will be drinks and food on offer at the event, and an amazing opportunity to sweat the live action with all of the other participants!
Entry into the $300,000 Live Final is restricted to just 155 entrants and all seats must be earned by winning a Golden Ticket through one of the online qualifiers on Draftstars. These qualifiers start this weekend for Round 7 action and will be available for a range of price points, starting from just $2. So this opportunity to compete for a massive prize pool is available to players of all budgets!
Qualifiers do not overfill, so once they are full, that’s it! So make sure you get your entries in early and lock in your spot!
The Draftstars Live Final champion will take home a massive $100,000 prize and the coveted championship belt! Finishing in the top 10 will be worth a handsome $5,000 while everyone competing in the final will be rewarded with at least $250 in prize money.
