Match Prediction
It’s been a tumultuous season for the Renegades so far. They currently sit at the bottom of the BBL10 table with just one win from their seven games so far. Their batting has been absolutely deplorable this season and they were bowled out for less than 100 for the third time in their loss to the Scorchers on Sunday night.
The Strikers sit in fourth place on the table but have lost their last two games in a row to the Scorchers and Sixers. They’ll be thankful for the winnable back to back games against the Renegades before a tough stretch that sees them face the Stars and Thunder in four of their last five games. Batting has been a bit of a concern in their last two games after putting up just 146 against the Scorchers on Thursday followed by 150 against the Sixers on Sunday night.
It’s hard to get excited about the Renegades in any form or fashion at the moment. Sure there are some positives like Shaun Marsh’s form at the top of the order and the coming out party for leg-spinner Peter Hatzoglou, but they just don’t have enough talent on this squad to be competitive over the course of 40 overs.
The Renegades have had chances to win games since their opening night win over the Scorchers and have choked on multiple occasions. In other games, they’ve been absolutely trounced. Have to side with the Strikers here, especially in an ‘away game’ at Adelaide Oval.
Renegades Prop Bet
This might be a bold call so early in his career, but I firmly believe Peter Hatzoglou could be one of the world’s best T20 spinners in due time. He has proven to be one of the breakout stars of the BBL10 season so far and the shining light for the Renegades dismal year.
He has taken seven wickets through just five games and his economy rate of 8.63 is one of the best amongst top wicket takers in the league. He has taken at least two wickets in his last three games in a row and was super impressive against the Scorchers in his last contest, taking 2/29 off four overs. Back him at good odds to be the Gades top wicket taker here.

Strikers Prop Bet
After a breakout season last year and a solid start to BBL10, Jono Wells has earned himself a promotion up to No.4 in the Strikers batting order, which is where he belongs as the steady hand in the line-up. He plays a really safe role through he middle overs, going at a run per ball with no risks until he gets to about 25-30 before going hard at the end of the innings.
He was super impressive in the Strikers loss to the Sixers on Sunday night, plundering 66 off 56 ballc after being forced into the game at 2/7 in just the second over. Wells is great value to top the Strikers runscorers on Tuesday night.
