EPL Matchday 10 Betting Tips
Everton vs Leeds United
Sunday 4:30am AEDT
Everton come into this on the back of 3-2 win over the struggling Fulham, which put an end to a three-game losing streak. The Toffees started the season in hot form but will take great pleasure in finally getting back on the winners list last time out.
Leeds United have had some decent enough results in their first campaign back in the top flight to give the impression they’ll be hanging around for another season. Last time out they played in a nil all draw against Arsenal, which was actually a game they should’ve won considering they had 25 shots a goal to Arsenal’s nine.
Neither club comes into this clash in hot form after both were off to promising starts. That said, both clubs would be relatively pleased with their current standings and will be looking to take something out of this match. For us, we’re expecting the Toffees to be too strong a home, but really like them winning this in a goal-fest at good odds.
Southampton vs Manchester United
Monday, 1am AEDT
Southampton will enter this as probably the form team of the entire competition if you’re looking at raw results. They lost their opening two games, but have since won five and drawn two of their past seven fixtures. Last time out they battled to a 1-1 draw away to the Wolves, which is a point well earnt.
Manchester United went into their clash against West Brom as the overwhelming favourites despite some indifferent form leading in. They were able to negotiate the win (1-0), but it definitely wasn’t as convincing as it should’ve been. The Red Devils have managed just four wins from eight fixtures thus far.
It’s hard to build a case to back in Manchester United as the odds-on favourites, especially considering how well the Southampton are playing at the moment. With the prices available, we’re more than happy to be playing the underdogs at home here.
Value: Southampton ($3.80)
Leicester City vs Fulham
Tuesday, 4:30am AEDT
Leicester were no match for Liverpool in their trip to Anfield after the international break, going down 3-0 without every really threatening. Despite the loss, the Foxes have had a fantastic start to the season and currently sit in fourth spot on the table and just two points behind top.
Fulham have found it very difficult in their early time back in the top flight, managing to claim points in just two of their nine fixtures to date. Last weekend they were 2-3 losers at home to Everton in a match that they probably should’ve secured at least one point.
In this fixture we have one of the best teams against one of the worst and we expect it to pan out that way. The Foxes can score goals with the best of them when given the chance to do so and we expect them to be winning this one very comfortably.
