NFL Week 9 Monday Betting Tips
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills

The Dolphins starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa returned to action after missing four straight games through injury. In his absence, the Dolphins were one of the worst offences in the NFL, putting up just 10.0 points per game across the four game stretch. His return marked a resurgence in the offence, as they put up 27 points, albeit in a loss to the Cardinals in Week 8.
The Bills have won their last four games on the spin, covering the spread in the last three. In those three games they have put up 29.0 points per game on the back of the Josh Allen led offence, who recently secured the services of star wide receiver Amari Coopers from the Browns.
Like the look of the overs here. The two teams put up 41 points in their Week 2 matchup despite the fact that Tagovailoa got injured halfway through that game. The last five matchups between these two teams have resulted in an average total score of 54.0 points. Back the over to hit again here.

Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers

A fantastic NFC North clash headlines the mid morning slate as the 6-2 Packers host the 6-1 Lions. The Packers have won their last four games in a row, putting up 28.0 points per game across those four. Quarterback Jordan Love leads the league in both interceptions and sack percentage, but that offensive slack is being picked up by star running back Josh Jacobs, who had 127 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Jaguars last week.
The Lions offence is also firing on all cylinders, but contrary to the Packers, its their QB who is getting the job done. Jared Goff ranks 2nd overall in passer rating this season, behind only Lamar Jackson, and has thrown 13 touchdown passes and just four interceptions.
The Lions have had a stranglehold over this matchup in recent history, winning four of the last four games. Those four wins have come by an average margin of 7.75 points. Based on form, it’s hard to see them dropping this one, even on the road. They are arguably the best team in football at the moment and I think they cover the 2.5 point spread here.

Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings started the season in hot form, winning their first five games but have gone on to lose two in a row to the Lions and Rams. They are one of the highest scoring offences in the league, putting up 26.9 points per game while also being a top 10 ranked defence, allowing just 19.6. This will be their 2nd straight primetime fixture, and they will have an extra few days rest up their sleeve after going down to the Rams on Thursday night football in Week 8.
The Colts are 4-4 on the season but are the best team in the league against the spread, maintaining a 7-1 record. The only time they have failed to cover was all the way back in Week 2, when they went down to the PAckers by six points on the road.
They start as 5.5 point underdogs on the road, but I’m staying away from either side at that line and opting for the unders instead here. The Colts have had a strong defence this season, and the unders are 9-6 in the 15 games involving either of these teams this season.
