12 games on the NFL Monday slate in Week 10, headlined by a couple of big divisional clashes. As always, we have you covered with betting picks for every game across the day below.
NFL Week 10 Monday Betting Tips
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens
5am (AEDT)
The Browns have had an inconsistent season to date, maintaining a 5-3 record and going 4-3-1 against the spread so far. Their offence is middling, averaging 22.6 points per game but their defence has been one of the strongest in the league, ranking 3rd overall, allowing just 17.4 points per game.
The Ravens are one of the best teams in the NFL at the moment, holding a 7-2 record straight up and going 6-3 against the spread to start the season. They are on a four game winning streak, having knocked off the Seahawks in dominant fashion 37-3 in their last game. They have the No.1 ranked defence in the league, allowing just 13.8 points per game while maintaining the 6th ranked offence in the league as well.
Like the look of the unders here, both of these teams have top ranked defences in the league and in their last two meetings, an average of just 23.5 total points have been scored.
Betting Stats
- When playing against teams with winning records this season, the Ravens are 4-1 against the spread.
- The last three meetings between these two teams have all gone under the total, while 19 of the last 29 have.
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys
8.25am (AEDT)
The Cowboys put up a good fight against divisional rivals in the Eagles last week but ultimately couldn't get over the line, going down 28-23 to fall to 5-3 on the season. They are also 5-3 against the spread this year, and have the No.3 ranked offence in the league, putting up 27.5 points per game.
The Giants have had a season to forget so far this year, going 2-7 and just 2-6-1 against the spread. The have the worst ranked offence in the league, averaging just 11.2 points per game and the under has hit in eight of their nine games so far.
The Cowboys start as massive 17.5 point favourites here, the largest spread we have seen so far this season. Not keen on either side of that line, but do like the unders once again here. I think this Giants team will have real issues moving the ball here, and likely be held to six points or less.
Betting Stats
- The under is 8-1 in Giants games this season, and they are 1-4 against the spread when on the road.
- In the last 13 meetings between the Giants and Cowboys, Dallas has covered the spread in 10.
New York Jets at Las Vegas Raiders
12.20pm (AEDT)
The Jets are 4-4 on the season and will be looking to put themselves back into contention in the AFC East with a win over the Raiders on Sunday Night Football. They have managed to stay relevant post the Aaron Rodgers injury in the opening game of the season, largely on the back of strong defensive play. They have won three of their last four, allowing just 15.0 points per game in those three wins.
The Raiders have had one of the poorest offences in the league this season, averaging just 17.3 points per game, but have still managed to stumble their way to a 4-5 record. They are coming off a dominant 30-6 win over the Giants last week, snapping a two game losing streak.
Tough one to predict here, I’d like to bet the unders once again but giving three unders picks wouldn’t make for a very fun article. Leaning towards the Raiders at home. They are 3-1 against the spread at home and start as one point underdogs here.
Betting Stats
- The Raiders have covered the spread in their last three home games.
- Six of the last seven Raiders games have gone under the total.
