Another big Monday of NFL action coming up with 12 games on the slate! As always, we have a preview for the marquee Sunday night clash as well as brief betting picks for the rest of the games on the Sunday slate below.
Sunday Night Football sees the Dolphins hosting the Steelers this week. Certainly not the most glamorous matchup, but we’ll make the most of it when it comes to betting.
NFL Week 7 Monday Betting Tips
Pittsburgh Steelers at Miami Dolphins
Monday 11.20am (AEDT)
The Dolphins started the season 3-0 but have since lost their last three games, highly due to the absence of their starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He will be back under centre this week after recovering from a nasty concussion, and should be able to ease back into his work with a slightly easier home matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers captured a brilliant upset win over the Buccaneers last week, but there is still no doubt that they will be one of the bottom ranked teams this season. Their defence is at least feisty enough to keep them in games, but I think they’ll struggle to keep up with the high powered Dolphins offence this week.
I think it’ll also be extremely hard for them to back up a stellar performance last week. The Dolphins start as 7.5 point favourites at home, which I do like, but I’m going to buy the extra point here to take this down to 6.5 to cover the touchdown victory.
Other Tips
Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys should continue to roll here against this Lions team that has been pretty poor defensively this season. I do think it’ll be a bit of a shootout though. The Lions have allowed the most points per game in the league this season at 34.0. The Cowboys haven’t been in extremely high scoring games this season but I think they’ll take what the Lions give them here. Back the overs.

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans
These two teams played just a few weeks ago and the Titans took the chocolates on the road. They are back at home for this clash and will start as 2.5 point favourites. The Cots offensive line has been a bit of a mess this season, using three separate combinations in their last three games alone. That’s the biggest concern for me heading into this game, and because of that I think the Titans cover this line at home.
Titans -2.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
New York Giants at Jacksonville Jaguars
How good have the Giants been this season! They are 5-1 and are starting to look like a contender behind their star quarterback Daniel Jones. They already boast strong wins over the likes of the Packers and Ravens and now get another really winnable game on the road against the Jags. I think the juggernaut roles on here and they cover as road dogs against the 2-4 Jags.
Giants +3 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens
The Browns have been pretty dismal through the 2022-23 season so far, maintaining a 2-4 record and now have a tough divisional matchup on the road against the Ravens. Inconsistency has been the main issue for the Ravens so far this season, alternating wins and losses throughout the first six games. Last week was a loss, which can only mean one thing.
Ravens -6.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
Atlanta Falcons at Cincinnati Bengals
The Eagles are 6-0 this season but the Falcons hold the most impressive stat to date. They are currently 6-0 against the spread and have the opportunity to join rarefied air this week as only seven teams in the history of the NFL have gone 7-0 against the spread to start the season. They will be road dogs once again this week, why not back the story here?
Falcons +6.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
Green Bay Packers at Washington Commanders
This game screams unders to me. The Commanders are one of the lowest scoring teams in the competition at just 17.0 points per game and the Packers haven’t been much better, averaging just 17.8 per game. Wouldn’t be surprised if this one finished something like 20-10.
Under 41.5 ($1.88 at Ladbrokes)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers
The Panthers were one of the headline teams of the Week 7 buildup as they traded away Christian McCaffrey to San Francisco for a haul of draft picks. Trading the star running back marks the commitment to the full rebuild for the Panthers, so I can’t see them being very competitive for the rest of the season. It comes at the right time for Tom Brady and the Buccs, who need a win desperately, especially one that will help them regain momentum in the NFC South.
Buccs -13.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
Houston Texans at Las Vegas Raiders
This game has big over vibes to me. At 45.5 this line seems a little low given the Raiders have been one of the highest scoring teams in the competition this season at 25.0 points per game and they have also allowed 26.0, good for the 5th most in the league. Shootout alert.
Over 45.5 ($1.88 at Ladbrokes)
New York Jets at Denver Broncos
The Jets are rolling at the moment and they have a great chance to go to 5-2 on Monday as they face a Broncos team that has been asleep on offence for the first six weeks of the season. Denver are the lowest scoring team in the competition at just 15.2 points per game. Staying away from this game as I just can’t bring myself to be interested in a game involving the Broncos this week. At least we aren’t subjected to it in prime-time.
No Bet
Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Chargers
SHOOTOUT ALERT! This game will be the highest scoring of the weekend I think. Justin Hebert has had some tough matchups throughout the first six weeks and I think he’s been waiting for a game like this where he can really fill his boots. Expect him to have 350+ yards and 4+ touchdowns against a Seattle team that has allowed 27.2 points per game this season.
Over 50.5 ($1.88 at Ladbrokes)
Kansas City Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers
I love that McCaffrey got traded to the 49ers this week. This line started as high as 3 points in favour of the Chiefs but since the news on the trade that has come into just 1.5 at most outlets. Make no mistake, McCaffrey is a fantastic player and arguably the best running back in the league, but he’s not going to be that valuable in week one at his new team with just a few training sessions under his belt. SMASH the Chiefs here.
Chiefs -1.5 ($1.90 at Ladbrokes)
