(5) Thought Of That looks one of the better bets on the card tonight and seems to have regained some of his best form again. Has been absolutely dominant in previous two starts from the front and looks well placed rising to this trip now. Linda Meech is flying and goes as good as anyone on a front-runner.

Pretty keen on (2) The Gauch once again. He’s just a genuine line finder and knows how to win. Keen to see him back up to 1200m after a good win over a shorter trip last start. He’ll race up on speed and you know what your going to get from him. That form around Dirty Thoughts looks good for this.
Moonee Valley Race 7
The feature race of the night sees some quality sprinters go head to head over 1200m in the G1 Manikato. I’m keen to have something on two runners here.
(2) Jonker will lead these up and he might just have enough sustained speed to get away with this on a fast Valley track. He’s been a touch unluck in both starts this prep and should be ready to peak now.
(9) Swats That can run a race here at a price. She’ll get back and should be powering home late. I think you can be forgiving of the first up run when caught wide while she’s a much better 1200m horse. Has had success here before and she’s a big enough price to find out if she can regain her best form.
