We hope everyone has recovered from a massive week of racing last week for the Melbourne Cup Racing Carnival. Our horse racing guru of gurus Tim Geers was on the money once again during the carnival, and he's looking to keep that momentum going with his best bets from around the country for Wednesday, November 11th.

Murray Bridge Race 3
Tony and Calvin McEvoy strike at about 31% here this season and they have one of their two runners for the day engaged here. (1) Tiganello has had six career starts in Melbourne but comes across to make his South Australian debut today, fresh from a 10-week spell. All the gear comes off him, so they’ve gone back to basics and if he brings the best of his form, he looks the horse to beat.
Ipswich Race 6
(2) Bestie was backed from $2.00 into $1.70 last start at Toowoomba and if you took the short odds, you were looking for the nearest vomit bag after the race. He took the sit behind the two leaders and instead of pulling to the outside, the 3kg apprentice chose to go back to the rail in an attempt to take a gap that didn’t exist. The horse was a tragedy beat and should have walked in. Draws barrier 1 but this time the senior rider goes on. His only other start at this track was a very narrow 2nd placing and with even luck today, he looks the one to beat. $4.20 looks a good bet. Have a saver on (5) Ragnar’s Bride, who makes his Queensland debut for Tony Gollan and he has a knack of getting these horses to improve.
Hawkesbury Race 7
The feature of the day is the Listed Ladies Day Cup at Hawkesbury and I’m quite keen on the chances of (3) Military Zone on an each way basis. He was well beaten first up at Randwick in Group 3 company, but he was rarely fully clear on that occasion. His record when having his second run back from a break is outstanding, with three wins from five starts, and two luckless 5th placings on the other two occasions. He went close a couple of times at this distance last preparation so with $6.00 available, I think he’s a good each way bet.
(3) Military Zone E/W
$6.00
