Some warm weather around the country this afternoon, so thankfully we have a couple of twilight horse racing meetings to get stuck into for today's best bets. Tim Geers is back with his best bet from Sandown, Warwick Farm and his home track of Ascot today.

Horse Racing Tips - Wednesday, February 10th
Sandown Race 5
Not overly keen on tipping $1.75 pops but it’s extremely hard to see (4) Tivalu getting beat here and he looks the good thing of the day. He was well-backed on debut at Warrnambool and justified the support with a 7L demolition job. The horse he beat then came out and won his next start by 3.5L, so there is plenty there to say he’s above average. He should lead here and I don’t see him getting run down.
Warwick Farm Race 5
(2) Exotic Ruby was good first up behind Lillemor at Rosehill in a Saturday BM78 race. She now drops back to a BM72 on a Wednesday at her home track of Warwick Farm, where runners from this stable seem to excel. She draws barrier 1 with James McDonald booked to ride and she should take plenty of beating at $2.80.
Ascot Race 9
(1) Downforce is racing in terrific form. He came from the clouds to win in similar grade two starts ago over 1200m here at Ascot. He then stepped back up in grade to a 66+ race on a Saturday and ran home gamely to finish 3rd to Excellent Dream and Weaponson, who has since come out and franked the form with another good performance. Downforce now drops back to a Class 3 on a Wednesday and provided he handles the 1400m, he should be very hard to hold out.
