Horse Racing Tips: Friday, March 20th
Albury Race 1 - (Market)
(9) Sun Master didn’t show a lot at his fist prep, he had four starts for one placing, but was well beaten on that occasion. He resumed off a 19-week break at Wangaratta and there was money for him at big odds, eventually having an SP of $14. He was slowly away and settled a mile back in the run, ran on well into second and looked a real black booker. He was tried out to the mile last prep so may still need further but he showed a lot more tactical speed last campaign, with a better getaway I expect him to settle a lot closer. This is no harder than that run resuming, he wouldn’t have had to improve much off that run.
Albury Race 7 - (Market)
The feature of the day is the Albury Cup. (2) Fun Fact is a dual-acceptor between here and Sydney on the weekend, am hoping the choose this as his preferred option as he looks a good thing. He has been up for a while but is racing really well, there is a couple with speed drawn inside but I think the lead is there for him if Brodie Loy shows the intent. He led them up in the Canberra Cup last start after there was a lot of money for him late. He kicked away with a big lead around the bend but was found wanting wen the smart Mugatoo loomed up at the furlong. He held-on well for second, that winner is a big hope in the big staying race in Sydney on Sunday and is undefeated since arriving I Australia. If he leads, he wins.
Port Macquarie Race 5 - (Market)
(6) Predicatable Miss was only fair at her first two starts, she got out to the mile last start from the 1200m and it really looked to suit. It was also to be noted that it was a heavy track that day as it is today, in a similar grade race to this. She sat behind the leader before hitting the front at the furlong pole. She kept going through the line for what was a pretty soft win in the end. Two horse out of that race have since gone on to win since, this looks no harder. She does get out to the 2000m for the first time but she handled the track conditions well last start and some of these will be absolutely walking over the line.

Townsville Race 1 - (Market)
Nice little race with four of the five last start winner and the other is the topweight who has won three of five and runner-up in the other two! (2) Higher Realm goes on top off a slashing debut win here at the track last week. He was forced to sit three-wide mid-field, came five-wide into the straight and the turn of foot he showed when he balanced up was impressive. He quickly dashed up to hit the lead inside the furlong pole and was strong through the line, the margins were 2x4.5! The time was good, although there are a few handy babies engaged, he looks the best of them.
