Esports Betting Tips: Monday, May 31st
AGO vs Entropiq
Sweet Sweet Spring #2 Quarter-Finals
AGO ended the Sweet Sweet Spring #2 Main Swiss Stage with a 3-1 record. They beat GamerLegion (2-0), Izako Boars (2-0), and Entropiq (2-1), but lost to 100PingGods (1-2).
Entropiq finished the Swiss Stage in sixth with a 3-2 record. They had to forfeit their opening match against Izako Boars, won the next two against Nordavind (2-1) and Copenhagen Flames (2-1), dropped the ball against AGO (1-2), and edged past 100PingGods (2-1).
These two sides met just three days ago when AGO won with 16-10 on Mirage, 5-16 on Dust2, and 16-12 on Nuke. Michał "snatchie" Rudzki was their best-performing player with a 1.19 average across the series. On the side of Entropiq, Aleksey "El1an" Gusev was the only player who stood out with a 1.31 rating across the series.
Even though AGO won, the match was much closer than what the final score would suggest. Entropiq's players played better but fell flat in a few crucial rounds, so there is a strong chance they steal a revenge win on Monday.
PickleBet have Entropiq priced as 1.43 favourites, which is a bit low. While I have confidence in them to win, I don't believe AGO will be left empty-handed.
Team Fiend vs Endpoint
Sweet Sweet Spring #2 Quarter-Finals
Team Fiend and Endpoint already met during the Sweet Sweet Spring #2 Main Swiss Stage. The match ended in a 2-1 victory for Fiend, who crushed Endpoint with 16-10 on Mirage and 16-2 on Dust2 after dropping the ball on Overpass (11-16).
Fiend ended the Swiss Stage with a perfect 3-0 record, which included victories against Copenhagen Flames (2-0), 100PingGods (2-0), and Endpoint (2-1). The British squad ended in sixth with a 3-2 record.
They beat Lyngny Vikings (2-1), lost the next two against Fiend (1-2) and HAVU (0-2), but bounced back with two back-to-back victories against SKADE (2-1) and GamerLegion (2-1).
Last time out, Endpoint won the series opener with 16-11 on Overpass, however I wouldn't overreact to that result. Fiend had to play that map with their coach, who replaced Hristiyan "REDSTAR" Pironkov and posted a disastrous 0.49 rating.
It's fair to say that Fiend would have won on Overpass and swept Endpoint 2-0 had REDSTAR been available for the first map. With that in mind, I have to side with the Bulgarians to win 2-0.

1win vs Izako Boars
Sweet Sweet Spring #2 Quarter-Finals
1win and Izako Boars last clashed on Tuesday, when 1win stomped the Polish roster with 16-8 on Dust2 and 16-4 on Nuke. It marked their first and only head-to-head victory against Izako Boars and the esports bookmakers seem to agree we are in for another easy win for the Russians.
That doesn't surprise me since 1win are clearly the better team. They finished the Swiss Stage with a perfect 3-0 record and a phenomenal 105-66 round differential, whereas Izako Boars barely made it to the playoffs.
The Boars ended the Swiss Stage with a 3-2 record. That run includes three clean-sweep victories against Gorillazzz, OFFSET Esports and Sangal Esports and two 0-2 losses against Fiend and GamerLegion.
Izako Boars have only done well against bottom-table teams and have struggled against Fiend and Gamer Legion. Results like that lead me to believe Izako won't have a fun time on Tuesday.
The Poles are 3-2 in their last five, whereas 1win are 4-1. What's more, 1win tend to perform much better on Dust2, Nuke, Overpass and Vertigo, so they should enjoy a huge advantage on at least one map.
Everything points to another easy victory for 1win, and while you can never surely know what will happen in these online CS:GO fixtures, the favourites are worth a shot at these odds. Pick 1win to win 2-0!
