EPL Week 37 Betting Tips
Everton vs Southampton (Sunday 2.30am AEST)
Southampton were able to clinch a crucial must win game against Burnley last weekend and now sit just one point behind Swansea in 17th place. They’ll be desperate to continue their win streak this week and potentially move out of the relegation zone. They do play Swansea next week, giving them a great chance to move clear of them, but face Manchester City in the last game of the season.
Everton have had a respectable finish to their season, moving up into the top eight and winning their last two games in a row. They currently sit 9 points behind Arsenal in 6th place so will have no chance of qualifying for the Europa League, however, they’ll be keen to finish their season with some momentum.
Everton have lost just one of their last 18 previous Premier League home games against Southampton and have won 13 over that period with only four draws. However, Southampton just have so much more to play for here as they attempt to stay out of the relegation zone. I think they’ll be ultra-hungry here and claim a crucial away win.

Manchester City vs Huddersfield Town (Sunday 10.30pm AEST)
Manchester City kept their hope of being the first team in Premier League history to accumulate 100 points in a season alive last weekend when they defeated West Ham 4-1 away from home. They need just 7 points to achieve the feet through their last three matches, with games against Huddersfield, Brighton and Southampton to come.
Huddersfield suffered a tough loss to Everton on the weekend and will be desperate to get back on the winners list, or at least secure a point as they hope to stay out of the relegation zone. They currently sit three points clear of Southampton, but with games against Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea in their last three, their season is far from over.
After their disappointing exits from the Champions League and the FA Cup, Manchester City will want to salvage something beyond just an EPL title for all of their dominance they’ve shown this season. A 100 point season would provide that, so they’ll still be hungry to continue winning here.

Chelsea vs Liverpool (Monday 1.30am AEST)
The game of the round sees Chelsea hosting Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Monday morning. Depending on whether or not Liverpool can get over the line against Roma on Wednesday morning in the Champions League, the Reds could have their minds elsewhere as they prepare for a European Final.
Chelsea have had a bit of late resurgence to their season, winning their last three in a row and will look to take a scalp at home to close out their year. They still have an FA Cup final to look forward to, but as it’s not until later in the month, we should see a full contingent of Blues in this clash.
Regardless of how Liverpool go on Wednesday morning, it’s likely we’ll see a few of their key players rested for game against Chelsea. With the Blues in great form of late, I expect them to win this one at home.
