EPL Matchday 37 Betting Tips
West Ham vs Manchester City
Sunday 15th May, 11.00pm (AEST)
Manchester City have got one hand on the title heading into Matchday 37 with a three point lead on Liverpool and even more remarkably, they’ve overtaken the Reds on goal difference. City have scored nineteen goals in their last four games while Liverpool have scored only six in that timespan, giving the defending champions a seven goal advantage on goal difference. City need just four points from their remaining two games remaining to secure the title and if Liverpool fail to win against Southampton, the title could be won by this weekend.
West Ham ended a four game winless run with a convincing win over Norwich, but there’s very little to gain for the Hammers from their final two games, looking destined for a place in the Europa Conference League next season. Just like last season Manchester City possesses the perfect statistical profile, with the number one ranked attack (94 goals scored) and the number one ranked defence (22 goals conceded) in the Premier League.
City have been utterly dominant against West Ham, winning ten of their last eleven Premier League fixtures against the Hammers and holding an 18-4-2 against West Ham in the Premier League since 2009. A win in this fixture won’t mathematically secure the title, but it will be all but sealed barring a ridiculous scoreline in the Liverpool Southampton game. The title is there for the taking, and this incredible Manchester City side won’t let it slip.

Leeds United vs Brighton
Sunday 15th May, 11.00pm (AEST)
Three consecutive losses and four games without a win has Leeds staring down the barrel of relegation. Leeds are in eighteenth place on 34 points, equal with Burnley who occupy seventeenth position and two points behind sixteenth placed Everton. However Burnley and Everton have a game in hand on Leeds, meaning Jesse Marsch’s side must take points from this clash.
Brighton head to Elland Road on the back of a 4-0 smashing of Manchester United, with the Seagulls one of the most improved clubs in the Premier League, sitting in ninth after a sixteenth placed finish last season. Brighton are unbeaten in six of their last seven games in the Premier League.
Brighton have a better record away (7-7-4) than at home (4-7-7) this season, and Leeds hold a poor 4-5-9 record at Elland Road. Leeds have conceded 77 goals this season, the second most in the Premier League, and have only scored one goal in their last four games. Brighton have had the wood over Leeds since they returned to the top flight in 2020, with a 2-1-0 over Leeds since their return to the top flight in 2020. Brighton are excellent value in this clash against a struggling Leeds side.
Newcastle vs Arsenal
Tuesday 17th May, 5.00am (AEST)
The Gunners could have fourth place secured with a win in the North London Derby on Friday morning, but they’ve got a short turnaround into their Matchday 37 fixture against Newcastle. Newcastle come into this clash on the back of consecutive defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City, with their latest game a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of the league leaders.
Despite their ressurgant form since the investment from their new owners, the Magpies have been one of the worst defensive sides this season. Newcastle have conceded 61 goals this season, the fourth most in the Premier League and the most of any club outside of the relegation zone.
The Gunners have scored 11 goals in the four games leading into their game against Tottenham on Friday, and will challenge a Newcastle defence that has struggled all season, especially against the top four sides. Newcastle have an 0-0-7 record against the top four clubs this season, with an aggregate score of 1-19. Arsenal have won seventeen of their last eighteen Premier League games against Newcastle and will continue that dominance on Tuesday morning.
