EPL Matchday 14 Betting Tips
Watford vs Chelsea
Thursday December 2nd, 6.30am (AEDT)
The Blues could only muster a 1-1 draw at home against Manchester United in Matchday 13. The dropping of points and wins to both Manchester City and Liverpool mean that the Blues now have a narrow one point lead atop the table, one that they will be looking to improve on as they travel to Watford earlt on Thursday morning.
Watford have started the season on a pretty slow note, currently sitting in 16th place with a 4-1-8 record. They have lost three of their last four games, going down to Leicester 4-2 on the weekend. They sit just three points above the relegation zone and have a tough stretch of games with Chelsea and Manchester City in the span of three days.
Chelsea have won their last four in a row and seven of their last eight against Watford. Those games have been particularly high scoring, with the two teams combining for an average of 4.125 goals per game. Their last encounter resulted in a 3-0 win to Chelsea and the Blues have scored at least three in four of their last six against Watford.

Everton vs Liverpool
Thursday December 2nd, 7.15am (AEDT)
The game of the round sees the first Merseyside Derby of the season take place between Everton and Liverpool on Thursday morning from Goodison Park. The game has lost a little bit of it's excitement this season as Everton have started the year in slow fashion, going just 4-3-6 and sitting in 14th place. They are winless in their last seven games, but a win over their oldest rival in their biggest game of the year would no doubt have the Toffee fans back on their side.
The Reds have been impeccable in their last three games, winning 4-0 over Arsenal, followed by a 2-0 win in the Champions League over FC Porto. They backed up those wins with a dominant 4-0 performance against Southampton on the weekend. They now sit just two points behind Chelsea at the top of the table.
Everton were shock winners on the road in the last Merseyside Derby, winning 2-0 on the back of goals to Richarlison and Sigurdsson. Liverpool have some injury concerns heading into this game, with both Bobby Firmino and Naby Keita both set to miss the game. Regardless, I think Liverpool have looked much to strong over the last few weeks to bet against them here.
Manchester United vs Arsenal
Friday December 3rd, 7.15am (AEDT)
Manchester United and Arsenal will square off in a massive clash to close out the Week 14 action on Friday morning. The two sides sit outside the top four and will both be hunting a much needed win to jump nack into contention. Points are all the more important given that the top three spots looked to have been locked up by a rampant trio of teams in Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool, so rest will all be battling it out for the fourth and final automatic qualification into the Champions League.
After a slow start to the season, Arsenal have found form over the last few months. In fact they have lost just one of their last 13 games in all compettiions and are coming off a solid 2-0 win over Newcastle on the weekend. They have done a fantastic job to find themselves in 5th place on the EPL table considering they have scored just 15 goals on the season and have a -2 goal difference.
On the contrary, Manchester United started the season in hot form but have dropped away heavily lately. They have won just one of their last five games and got lucky to come away with a 1-1 draw against Chelsea in a game where they were absolutely dominated on the weekend. Given the two teams form at the moment, I love the value of Arsenal here, especially with the double chance.
