We looked well on our way to another winning week in EPL Matchday 5, but the Spurs blew a three-goal lead which had us settle the week at 1/3. We’re confident we can get back to our profitable ways this weekend as we present our best plays for Matchday 6!
EPL Matchday 6 Betting Tips
Manchester United vs Chelsea
Old Trafford, Sunday 3:30am AEDT
Manchester United were able to bounce back from their humiliating defeat against Tottenham by defeating Newcastle 4-1 last weekend. The score-line does flatter the Red Devils a touch, but it was an important win that they were then able to back up in their midweek UCL fixture against PSG.
Chelsea looked a sure thing to secure the three points against Southampton when they led by a Timo Werner Brace in the first half, but the Blues fell apart in the second half on the back of some more horror goalkeeping from Kepa. They finished the match 3-3 and will be sweating on the return of Edouard Mendy.
Defence continues to be a problem for both of these clubs and we can’t see that turning around overnight. We’re expecting plenty of goals in this contest and for both teams to have their fair share of chances to win.

Liverpool vs Sheffield United
Anfield, Sunday 6am AEDT
Liverpool responded from their 7-2 thumping by Aston Villa in great fashion last weekend, creating chance after chance against Everton in the Merseyside derby. The Reds looked like they’d finally got the go-ahead goal at the death, only for it to be ruled offside by the VAR. Liverpool were strong in their midweek UCL win over Ajax, which finished 1-0.
Sheffield United finished off last campaign disastrously and it looks as though that form has carried over into their new campaign. The Blades find themselves with just a single point to their name after five matches, which they accrued last weekend against a fellow struggling club in Fulham.
Liverpool will start this match as the overwhelming favourites and for good reason. With that said, we don’t expect the Reds to knock Sheffield for four or five goals. The Blades may be without a win this campaign, but they’ve only conceded seven goals from five games, and last season they only conceded three goals against Liverpool from two meetings. We’re tipping Liverpool to win, but in a 2-0 type score-line.

Arsenal vs Leicester City
Emirates Stadium, 6:15am AEDT
Arsenal were unable to break through the Manchester City defence last weekend and ended up on the wrong end of a 1-0 score-line. Despite the loss, the Gunners look to be an improved side this season and we like the addition of Thomas Partey in midfield.
Leicester City finished off last season in terrible fashion and it ended up costing them a top four spot. They responded by coming out of the blocks firing this campaign with three wins from three games, but have since hit a road block with two disappointing losses on the spin.
Both sides are coming off losses but the way Arsenal went down in defeat was far more promising than Leicester. Unless something drastically changes this weekend, the Gunners should be good value for a win at home.
