EPL Matchday 23 Betting Tips
Fulham vs West Ham United
Sunday 4:30am AEDT, Craven Cottage
Fulham were unable to get anything out of their midweek fixture against Leicester, losing 2-0 to make it 10 league games in a row without a win. The season is starting to slip away quickly from the Cottagers who are eight points behind the safety of 17th spot on the ladder.
West Ham United are flying at the minute and come into this off a stellar 3-1 win away to Aston Villa. The Hammers have now won five of their past six league fixtures and have surged into fifth on the table as a result. European competition qualification would most certainly be on their radar now.
Here we have a fixture between two teams in completely contrasting form. On one hand we have a near relegation certainty in Fulham; on the other hand we have one of the hottest teams in the competition in West Ham who will be desperate to capitalise on their momentum. This is a pretty straightforward pick for us with taking the Hammers to get the job done at around $2.
Tottenham Hotspur vs West Bromwich Albion
Sunday 11pm AEDT, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Tottenham Hotspur’s title hopes have been completely derailed due to their current form. They lost their most recent outing against Chelsea (1-0) to make it three league losses on the spin. The Spurs have managed just one goal from those three games, which just goes to show how much they rely on Harry Kane when he’s fit.
West Bromwich Albion are sitting exactly where they deserve to be sitting on the ladder at the moment. They’ve really struggled to rise to the level of the Premier League and look as though they’ll be back in the Championship in a couple of months time. The Baggies have just two wins to their name this season against 14 losses.
Even with the form that they’re in, Tottenham shouldn’t have too much trouble negotiating the win at home against West Brom. They’re the far more talented team and will see this fixture as a massive opportunity to get their season back on track.

Liverpool vs Manchester City
Monday 3:30am AEDT, Anfield
Liverpool have been totally out of sorts over the past couple of weeks and things got even worse midweek when they lost at home to Brighton (1-0). Liverpool have now won just two games from their past eight league fixtures, which has seen them drop to fourth on the table and seven points behind Manchester City, despite having played an extra game.
Manchester City are clearly the form team of the competition at the moment and are now three points and a game in hand clear at the top of the table. The Citizens have reeled off nine straight league wins and have only conceded one goal en route.
City have won to nil in each of their last six league matches, which is an unbelievable stretch in any soccer league in the world. On current form it’s impossible to make a case against them, so we’ll be backing them in to get the chocolates at Anfield this weekend.
