Tough week for EPL punters in Matchday 10 with a tone of unexpected results making it very hard to find winners. We now shift our attention to the upcoming Matchday 11, where we’re very confident in a couple of plays that you can find below. Good luck if following!
EPL Matchday 11 Betting Tips
Burnley vs Everton
Saturday 11:30pm AEDT
Burnley have had somewhat of a nightmare start to their EPL campaign thus far, picking up just five points from nine fixtures to sit 19th on the table. The Clarets have the worst goal difference in the league (-13) and are yet to win away from home in five starts.
Everton were upset by an inspired Leeds United outfit last weekend, which made it four losses from five matches for the boys in blue. The Toffees got off to a dream start this campaign after making a couple of key signings in the offseason, but are certainly going through a lean patch over the past couple of weeks.
Neither side boasts any sort of winning form coming into this weekend, but it is the Toffees who we fancy to turn things around. Three of their five wins in the league this season have come away from home and they get the perfect opportunity to build on that number against a Burnley outfit that looks every bit like a relegation battler.
Manchester City vs Fulham
Sunday 2am AEDT
Manchester City returned to some of their best form in the EPL last weekend, thumping Burnley 5-0 at home in an offensive masterclass. It was a much-needed confidence booster for the perennial title-challengers who have moved within six points of top spot.
Fulham have produced some more promising results in some of their recent league fixtures, winning two of their past four matches. Clearly their best result of the season so far was their away win against Leicester last weekend (2-1), although it was a tad fortunate with the Foxes hitting the woodwork on two occasions.
The Cottagers have certainly improved as the season had gone on, but they still have a long way to go before they’re up to challenging the likes of Manchester City on the road. We’re expecting a one-sided affair on Sunday morning with City proving far too good at the Etihad.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal
Monday 3:30am AEDT
Tottenham have been very impressive in the first couple of months of the new season and come into this weekend on top of the table. The Spurs are now undefeated in their last seven matches in all competitions and have a front three that is firing on all cylinders.
Arsenal started off the season strong with wins in their first two matches, but have struggled since then for the most part. They’ve managed to score just once in their last three league fixtures and have slid all the way down to 14th on the table.
The North London derby is always an exciting watch and this edition should be no different. That said, we are expecting a more one-sided affair this weekend considering the form lines of the two clubs coming in. Tottenham will start as the odds-on favourites and we’re keen to be with them to get the chocolates.
